Well, I suppose it’s different from the L-shaped blanket.
Well, for the princessly* sum of $1/month, you could have seen this page in all its unedited glory (slightly) more than 24 hours ago. If you have the means, support top quality story telling. I’m personally in it for the story more than anything else … no really. If I read Playboy, it would be for the articles (and in further good news, it’s recently been reported that’s all it’s going to have in future).

Hats off to the misdirect. The August 4th preview of the top panel in black and white and no dialogue made me think Phi was asleep and the look on Peonie’s face made me think it was a case of buyer’s regret.
Well, it fooled me into thinking that OK? Like you’re all so smart anyway!

@shan, I’m not in the US and Patreon have been less than helpful.
Neither am I but I totally appreciate both how much of a pain it can be (been there) and sometimes people have other financial priorities. By the way, I know it’s not at all obvious but when I said ‘you’, I was meaning a general ‘you’ to everyone out there, not you specifically. I’m trying to do my small bit to help promote this out of naked (figuratively speaking) self interest because I really like this story.
Oh yes to add as I hadn’t seen Scott’s post there, I’m not endorsed by Scott nor has he asked me to plug anything. Just saying what I’ve seen and how I’ve seen it. I was actually most happy about seeing the storyline a full 24 and a bit hours before I usually do.
I guess that point about Typh’s one time 3 sisters is still in play and there’s a good chance it’s leading somewhere big and I’m delighted about that. I especially like the irony that the original mention of anything to do with sisters has been replaced by rewritten and redrawn pages at the start to bring everything in line with the then new artist. It was so meta.
LOL Scott, it took me a second but I realized that the censor monkeys were the cause of the silly underwear. Actually, for the long time fans this actually works as we understand the hoops you have to jump through to appease the website gods of prudery.
GAH! I’ve been so cornflaggled about the underwear I totally missed that “change’s” is wrong on both this and the original page! I’ll make corrections soon…
About that, before the day this entire saga goes to print, will we all have a chance to go through and point out all the errors in the past pages. I know it’s part of the charm when reading it online and I can only imagine this isn’t the easiest thing to produce in the world (furthermore no-one likes an overbearingly obnoxious pedant and it can come across that way even when your trying your hardest in not being so when pointing out mistakes) but when I buy hard copies, I’d like them as error free as possible.

I just realised this is the once a week alter week which means since I got to see this page a day earlier, I’m going to have waited an extra day before the next one next Tuesday if that doesn’t have art that needs to be … modified *sigh* (both for this and for that).
Lucky a new page for Dark Reflections dropped today.
I’m a bit confused about this page vs the Patreon page: is the B&W one panel preview the only version there? If there’s an uncensored version of this finished page in the Patreon feed there I can’t seem to find it. Unless I need to raise my pledge level, in which case I’ll see it when circumstances permit. Very nice to see the new Dark Reflections pages there, all the same. Love that story line.
@Random Spectator – it is there, and any Patrons should be able to get it. You may have overlooked it – since Peonie is entirely nude in that page it needs to be downloaded from its post and isn’t immediately visible. It is listed as “The Over Under” Alternate Art.
Are we back to the ‘artfully added clothing for non patreons’ already? o_O
Yes unfortunately and it’s also included pages that were sitting the archive minding their own business for the last 4 years. What’s even more bizarre is the similar looking Peonie monsters didn’t suddenly find themselves having to acquire support bras even though as far as I can tell their upper bodies look more or less the same except for being a slightly different colour and see through … oh yes, and no nipples. Scott would have to confirm or deny whether those characters were ever raised as an issue too though and if they were then allowed to pass unaltered … or whether that never came up … or whether no specifics for those pages came up.
Also worth noting is that those pages were already modified from the original artwork in the first place which revealed even more (and hence never went up for open public access).
PS when you get around to Eternal Knights, there’s an artful lack of non clothing when the situation calls for it.
Not that I care, I’m here and there (only two webcomics I sponsor) for the story.
PS There are other webcomics I like and I would sponsor them too except to varying degrees, they already have enough people giving them money for what they want to do while these can do more once they hit their still outstanding goals.
My only question is: Can the artist put a little more effort into the safe-for-work/ safe-for-advertisers coverups?

It makes clear that the adservice either imposed new restictions or enforced existing ones with a more severe interpretation at the last minute before the originally intended page went up. They didn’t have much time if they wanted the page to go out on the due time and date.
This post basically implies these changes were required at the very last minute.

That’s why they apologies for this very thing not being as good as they could have made it. Alternatively, even the lowest tier Patreon users got access to the unedited page that wouldn’t have been up on the publicly accessible webpage even a bit earlier I guess maybe because the new modifications requested at the last minute delayed this a bit.

Well, quoting myself from about a week ago, as I suspected as much it came to pass. I’m in two minds about this. On the plus side, I both get to see the story a day early and also how creatively they’re going to cover this one up tomorrow.
Now that we have switched ad providers I have swapped out the older underwear version with the page as it was originally intended to appear. Other pages will follow as I am able to update them.
I uploaded ANOTHER version which fixes that damn typo.
