Is it a tiara or a diadem?
Thank you for my first language lesson today. My first introduction to the word diadem was apparently not exactly entirely wrong, but really skewed down extrapolation lane.
That does appear to be a diadem, specifically of the subset that are not tiaras.
… and then later we learn that the crescent is, in fact, somehow a jewel, and thus that it was a tiara the whole time…
Circlets, tiaras, crowns, and similar headpieces are all diadems.
The correct term for the headpiece in the picture is a circlet, as it wraps around the forehead. Tiaras rest on one’s hair or top of the head, and crowns rest upon the head in a similar fashion but is a full piece whereas tiaras are partial. Whether it’s bejewled or not doesn’t matter.

Come to think of it, Tiara’s are more a ‘half-crown’, aren’t they? Being that they either only have a ‘pointy bit’ at the front or the band isn’t a full circle

Like father, like daughter. Now we know that Peonie comes by it honestly.
And considering how Urtica has in fact been proven to be teaching his daughter to be a worthy successor, I’d say we’re going to have a very capable and sexy MILF monarch in the decades to come.
Exactly how would one come by that dishonestly? I mean, assuming that one isn’t a devil or demon that can somehow just sort of take that from people?
Good question. I suppose one might achieve it by rebelling against parental example – i.e. a daughter becoming a brazen and exhibitionist S!!t just to shock and p!!s off her prim, proper prude of a father.
Of course, that kind of rebellion tends to result in short sighted and foolish choices made purely for the sake of contrariness (i.e. engaging with sexual partners who are unpleasant, inferior, and perhaps even outright abusive – partners that she doesn’t even like – purely because she knows Daddy wouldn’t approve). Contrast that with Peonie’s behavior (i.e. choosing a sexual partner who is a handsome, brave, capable, and heroic knight, presumably as the latest such worthy partner).
And yeah, I know this is overexamining a joke to death, but it made me contemplative. I’ve known a number of people who did horribly damaging things, even ruined their lives, purely to spite their parents. (Not just in the stereotypical “sex and drugs” fashion, either. Last year I said goodbye to a woman who rebelled against an overcontrolling father who disapproved of her not being more athletic and a size 0, by becoming morbidly obese, contracting type 2 diabetes, and ultimately destroying her internal organs until they shut down one by one. I still miss her. Especially since I called her Mom)
(Oh, and I should note that I used the word S–t, which the comment board automatically censored, because I consider it to be a positive thing. Which is why I capitalized the “S.”
…And the second word that got censored was obviously a synonym for “urinate”)
It’s starting to look like the creators have roved out in search of truth and love. I certainly hope so; I love me some psychadelic storytelling.

You know the timelines be changed a few times Chloe’s mom has been missing for years… we just wondering if that’s walk while looking at her mom.. we saw a portrait of her where she looked exactly like Pony . But that might not be Canon anymore or it could have all been a trick I mean her father isn’t exactly the most honest individual. I’m just looking at this and wondering what Pony will look like in say in few years. All we know of her mom is how her mother disappeared..
If that is her mother I can see it now . Good news Pony your mom is alive bad news she makes Faden look like a hero.. and appears to bathe in blood while she’s sleeping… and it’s– she is planning on destroying God and replace him.. yeah and you thought your dad was a bad one.
