Swords, Sorcery, And Then Some!
Howdy, New Readers! Thanks for reading Exiern!
Written by Scott T. Hicken with art by Antipus, the comic updates Mondays. Please check out the Archive to enjoy the earlier adventures of Typh and Peonie!
Exiern contains mature themes and is best for readers 18+.
@tt34, the curse won’t allow it. It’ll reshape any magitek cybernetic limbs or full armor coverings into sexualized analogues until she looks like something out of a 90s comic book. Which will likely upset Typh more than whatever hypothetical injuries necessitated a hypothetical augmentation in the first place. “Dammit, I LIKED looking like a big, strong, MALE warrior… can’t I even have it with armor!?”
More than forty years ago, a wise old Senior Chief Boatswain’s Mate told a bunch of us greenies in the barracks at Electronics C School at Great Lakes “…now, the way you tell the difference between a fairy tale and a sea story is that a fairy tale starts out ‘Once upon a time…’ and a sea story begins ‘Now this is no s!!t…’.”
(He was also the one who taught me that you don’t have to swing the big hammer full strength every time, but there’s a limit to how hard the little hammer can hit.)
@Archone. Don’t be so sure, his current clothes aren’t revealing or overly girly. There’s probably some type of armor Typhan-Knee cam wear that won’t trigger the curse.
The curse normally triggers if she tries to deny the fact, that she is female (partwise). But she learning more and more to accept this part of her, with wich this bonding helps probably helps. So I guess the curse is less likely to take action because of clothing. My guess 🙂
But I guess, we won’t here the end of the story. It’s just time for stories from old past. 😀
@Archone an tt34. If that happens i guess Typhan-knee might end up looking like Seven of Nine or a blonde version of Motoko Kusanagi from GitS:SAC…I agree that the curse/enchantment (i still think it’s an enchantment and not a curse!) won’t allow such a drastic change in bodily image.
Be a Producer!Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
Wait, what was he doing with a bowling pin? o_O
Obviously this would have been back before she encountered Faden and Princess P-cups
Love that Typhan-Knee bonded with the guards and that his night ended on a high note.
It also seems like he can drink strong alcohol again.
The crate on which Typh is sitting is going to tip over, isn’t it?
I feel that spare set of armor at the front right looks somewhat ominous and portentous. I hope Typh is not going Robocop on us.

We’ll either never hear the end of the story, or we’ll go into a flashback in the next panel. Who wants to make bets either way.
