    I don’t usually comment such things, but I really like that dress.

    Well, whatever happened, one assumes it didn’t happen to our favourite barbarian.

    @CaptXpendable:
    Concur: That’s a perfectly lovely dress.

    @Fairportfan:
    Isn’t our favorite barbarian exactly what happened?

    I think this is the wreckage she caused when her forelock grew back.

    Is there still a Paypal button somewhere for this webcomic or is the only way to send them some money their way through Patreon now?

    Looks like the spell that transformed Typhs clothes is wearing off as Typh comes to terms with the spell that changed her.

    And Peonie is not the least bit frightened by the fact that the room is a disaster area. She’s been around Typh too long. Either that, or her long and sordid past has really hardened her to this sort of thing.

    That poor shop owner! Not only does he lose money on the clothes he attempted to sell to Typh, but now he loses the fetish wear market as well!

    Typh’s entire story from start to eventual end, I thought could be a bit like this short animated film (it’s only 9 min, at worst a brief amount of animated upper body nudity for literally 2 or 3 scattered seconds over 9 and a quarter minutes. Be sure to stay for the credits as there’s a bit more story interspersed with them).

    Anyway, I thought it did track a bit with the adventures of our hero and its ending is possibly how things could end here too. Well, with one possible major difference that is.

    the disintegrating metal is presumably the metal bikini set that Typh’s clothes turned into after she/he tried to look more manly.

    And yeah, the wrecked room (by gods! that was a 4 post bed!) is the result of a barbarian rage in response to said clothing alterations… Actually I’m surprised the mirror of all things can still be recognized as a mirror.

    I guess Typh must have passed on the message to Peonie about not calling her/him Tiff anymore.

    The best proportion i have ever seen on P-cup is the first panel the rest she is much to large in the chest. So big it would seriously limit her movement.

    Shan: that video was very good

    Charles81: no, it wasn’t a four-poster, just one with a canopy at the head

    Those melted slag piles may have been the original outfit, no reason to believe the rest of the changed clothes are like fairy gold

    @ Guesticus

    It was good, wasn’t it? My favourite part are the post credit stills that showed life for the main character post the second big change in their life. Considering everything that had happened, they turned out remarkably well adjusted (also, it was very funny).

    Broadly speaking, two possible ways this story ultimately ends could be that way or the opposite at least in terms of what body Typh ends up with. On the subject of endings, I wonder how much longer this webcomic might go for. In just my opinion, I feel even just given all the past plot points yet to be resolved and promised to return, they’ve not even reached the halfway point yet. There seems like there’s so much more that can be done yet, don’t you think?

    On the other hand, this webcomic is now more than ten years old and you never can tell if it can last another ten because you can never predict if the people running it can continue to do so if something unexpected comes up (ditto the artist and everyone else who contributes) Which is why I hope it’ll be possible that they’ll be able to achieve their goals of increasing production and publishing.

    On that note, I’ve discovered what may presently be the highest earning Patreon at present, which has a reported figure of $33,808.49 every *two weeks* (yes, I’m stunned).

    Meanwhile, on the other side of the mirror in the Dark Reflections Universe …

    As you might have seen, other Typh’s sword, the Drinking Blade (most definitely not the North Wind of this universe) has an adverse reaction when switched on and handled by women as seen by it lighting up Possessed Peonie and catapulting her through the air.

    However, as seen in this month’s installment, Faden by way of Peonie doesn’t give up and Typh, unable to indefinitely control his attraction to her body (so definitely not this world’s Typh then) causes his sword to leap out of the ground in a reverse Excalibur and whammy him into Dark Tiffany.

    I guess this raises the following questions:

    1) Why couldn’t women handle the Drinking Blade?
    2) We’ve seen Dark Tiffany handling it now, what’s changed?
    3) Why did it suddenly change its owner like that? What are the reasons?

    Speculating here that maybe to wield it, the owner had to be of a particular state of mind perhaps and by slipping from that caused it all to happen. Speculating further, perhaps the change in the owner’s state of mind caused something about the sword to change too and it had to realign its owner to match, with unforeseen consequences. Though one of them now seems to be that women (or at least one particular woman) can wield it.

    I guess we may find out more next month. Thoughts anyone?

    That CAN’T be the first time Peonie has walked through her room and said “Ug! What did I STEP in??”

    Andor: yes, but it’s usually her own mess she’s stepping in 😛

    Shan: Exiern has already gone through two artists (or was it writers?) and on to the third, not saying that that is a bad thing, just they there is no reason why it will end just because the current one moves on (hoping he won’t). Also, there is no reason why this webic can’t continue beyond Typh ‘settling’ on a body form (also hoping this webic continues for another twenty years, but do understand that some webics have a ‘natural’ end)

    @ Guesticus

    I’m sure things are fine for the foreseeable future. I’ve pieced together at least some of the history of Exiern leading up to today and in the past, it’s very existence seemed extremely tenuous and yet it kept going, if anything it seems in a much safer and more stable position than much of the past. So I think things are OK for the moment and hopefully long may it continue.

    From what I remember, technically there’s been 3 artists but the 2nd redid all of the first (who also created this in the first place). As for writers, once again I think it’s the third but there was also a period of time I think it was owned by Dan Standing but I don’t think he was ever a main writer as it went Drowemos to Chemiclord to Scott I believe going by the top of the main page.

    PS: Then there’s Dark Reflections, there’s a lot of potential there which I hope gets tapped one day. I hope one day it can get up to at least once a week if not more both to build momentum and also volume of pages. Basically, that boils down to finding more funding, I’m hoping to contribute in that regards once I can if such an option is ever on the cards.

    I think the potentially good thing about it is some What Ifs could be explored, I’ve already speculated about if Dark Tiffany ends up “saving” Peonie and ends up in this instance taking the king’s offer of marriage as a springboard to taking over the whole kingdom.

    I’ve also wondered if Typh’s father and mother are still alive (as well as his three sisters who got never-wered). Extending both of those even further, what if Tiffany after taking control of the south ended up going to war against her own people up north?

    That’s one of the other things I’ve wondered about. Typh in this universe attempted to do something that led to the death of his mother and father in short order. Not long after that, it lead to the death of possibly every foreigner in the north. That’s bad.

    However, it’s possible that with Typh’s brother taking over and stopping the raids on the south, it’s actually ended up saving more lives in the long run. Normally impossible to say for sure but seeing how things could have played out in the north if their father had survived could be interesting, after all he was planning to create a big empire possibly by conquest if necessary if he hadn’t been stopped.

    Well, here’s hoping they get the opportunity to take some of the major events from the original universe and create a whole new slant on them somewhere down the line. It could potentially be a lot of fun, especially if the two universes ever get to cross over and Typh gets to meet (and presumably fight) Tiff.

    @Shan:
    “Geraldine” is great; I admit that although I’ve watched it several times, I haven’t seen the post-credits coda before.

    In return, let me give you the 70s teen angst take on magical sex changes, from John. Bloody. Hughes. Yes, the movie guy, Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller, Weird Science, etc.

    My Penis
    My Vagina

    These appeared in the National Lampoon, so pretty much guaranteed to offend.

    Nevertheless: Hughes’ ear for the suburban teenage mind of the time is perfect.

    Published several years after I got out of high school, this was pretty much my first exposure to the idea that your sexual identity might be–fluid. I’ve been fascinated by trans-fiction on and off ever since, but this remains my favorite.

    @ 50srefugee

    Believe it or not, the first of those is actually a thing that does happen.

    http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-34290981

    As for The Breakfast Club, on the previous page it was raised in the comments that it could be a story that we’ll never hear the conclusion/punchline for. The Breakfast Club helped pioneer that.

    “A naked blonde walks into a bar, carrying a poodle under one arm and a 6 foot salami under the other. The Bardtender says, ‘So, I don’t suppose you’d be needing a drink?’ The blonde says……”

    Then Judd Nelson fell through the roof.
