Those tails and scales make me think they are bit like gator witch is like chicken, But there part Boar (which is very tasty pork due to the wild diet and muscle). So would these guys taste like a Pork mix Chicken?
Hmmmmm yep I make a watery BBQ sauce for them like 2 cups Vinegar 1/2 cup molasses 1/2 honey 1tsp paprika and 2 tb spoons honey 1/2 cup bourbon and 2 sp spoons mustard… maybe some garlic depending on there flavor of the meat. But I would serve them with apple and White Wine. There clearly a white meat.. Cave man style might be chancy due to parasites even if I brined them like wild meat maybe a dry slow smoked roast?? What you think?

Well, that fire is just all wrong. First, you don’t throw bodies on the fire before stripping the armor. That’s just wasteful. Second, piling bodies into a fire like that makes for inefficient burning. Once they’re done, half the flesh will still be unburnt and will quickly rot. Third, they should have built the pyre outside the city walls, preferably in or beside a trench. Fourth, what a waste of potential barbecue. They’re just ruining all that meat. I don’t care what kind of barbecue sauce you use, that s!!t’s going to be inedible.

At the very least, they need to be stripped, cleaned (I think those all have their innards), and spitted.
And Dry Brined(packed in salt) to break down the meat protein called myosin, one of the proteins responsible for the shrinkage that occurs when muscles are cooked. Its the Number one reason wild meat gets stringy gamy taste.
You know, looking at that last panel, Neils seems to be being a bit of a dick.
