Swords, Sorcery, And Then Some!
Howdy, New Readers! Thanks for reading Exiern!
Written by Scott T. Hicken with art by Antipus, the comic updates Mondays. Please check out the Archive to enjoy the earlier adventures of Typh and Peonie!
Exiern contains mature themes and is best for readers 18+.
So Phi and princess Peonie like a little S&M, huh? I hope PHI prepares that rope carefully beforehand because rope left unattended frays and those frayed fibers will prick, scrape and cut the skin, quite deeply in fact.
@Nick D Waters – totally agree. don’t worry, the spellsongs aren’t going to become the equivalent of “a wizard did it” in Exiern, and we’ll find out why later. But we do have a character who can spell sing and it would seem odd to me if they didn’t use that to certain degrees.
@Uhl, bondage does not necessarily imply S&M. Pure bondage play is about control, or lack of it. As I like to say, “Resistance is futile … but I like it when you struggle.” 🙂
Now, we must be understanding of Peonie here. She’s been tied up so many times, it’s hardly surprising that she developed a fondness for it.
Have we met Ms. Phi before? And is that pronounced “Fee” or “Pie”? The way Princess P-cups turned it into “Finally I…” implies it’s closer to ‘Pie’, so, does that mean P-cups likes eating bondage pie?
I found it interesting how well emphasized and cut the guard was drawn. Really outstanding, and complementary to the way Bohrs and Neils are drawn. Methinks a new major character in the works.

Ha, I just can’t stop laughing at that.
Ooh, someone has been genree savy. Beware, that only means the villains will get the same abilities.

Playing with rope is no fun if you can’t struggle.
Hah, I was right! Sleep (ok, knock out) spell triggered with her strike.
A bit to “pat” on the spells. I suppose her farts turn into giant fire breathing eye-balls.

Thanks again Scott and Shipeng!
@Trasce – Thank YOU!
Love Olivia’s look of TMI princess in the last panel. 🙂

no one find it odd that it only Olivia that is included in the royal blood part of that spell?
not just inner circle guards, said as if it just her.
jamwa: no, the real implication is: how is Ms Oily Palms part of the Royal Bloodline?

Or is Phi humble? 😉
Phi is, I think, the captain of the guards, a very male guard.
@Uhl Some people like the feel of the Rope frayed fibers will prick, scrape and cut the skin…. I have this Girlfriend..Never mind…
Unless he was recently reinstated, LIEUTENANT Phi is very much a man.

I’m thinking Phi is pronounced like the Greek letter, making it pronounced like the beginning of the word “finally”
Phi upon thee, Princess Peonie! 😀
> Phi is very much a man.
In the world of Exiern, such things can change quickly.
The Princesses face went Grey… About 50 shades of Grey!
Oh phooey! Forgot about Lt. Phi 🙁
Was really hoping Phi was one of the maids 🙁
Well unless she has enchanted every leather strap and silk scarf as well you should be able to manage Peonie.
