@ Critic: That doesn’t explain Denver, though. Perhaps he’ Enough of an aberration to scare the other dragons, or they all want their spawn to be smart like him?
Did Typh at least have the courtesy to think of us readers and name his/her hammer Mjolnir? You know what would add a little flair to that outfit? A cape and a helmet.
There’s a difference between intelligent and smart. For all their physical formidibility and intellectual capacity, Denver and his sister are two very young dragons, full of hormones and angst (and in the sister’s case, a vengeful god, maybe?). So, no, not particularly smart.
Be a Producer!Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
Yknow Im starting to think all dragons and dragonspawn are mentally subnormal and thats the real reason why theres so few of them ^^.

Denver’s sister was a lot smarter before the author change
Loving the artwork! Very nice.
Devin:- the same sister that attacked Typh in the forest while she was still transporting Faden? That sister? o_O
The artwork really is awesome. And I like this. Very good restart to the story. I love her “can do” attitude.
@Frith Remember Denver’s encounter with the robot people? That’s just one example of him being a LOT less smart than he may look.

Punch her in the snout!
@Critic,
It’s clear that Denver is part of the collective but Alicia is part of the other side.
Whoops, got my link wrong.

Good Thing #5: I’m all out of reasons not to beat Alicia into a red smear on the ground!
Great art. That first panel in particular is gorgeous.
