Still prefer to ship her and Typh, even though that will never happen 🙁
Maybe they can keep this guy around for heir-donations

Oh, so THAT’S why her boobs seemed smaller than before. Not healthy, but hmm.

This is why the “bra-burning” myths about feminism are exactly that – myths. A good bra doesn’t confine or restrict. It supports and provides a great deal of comfort:

This has been scientifically proven wrong. When worn consecutively, bras take away the natural support of breasts and are the main contributor to the massive increase in breast cancer. Bras are extremely bad for you.

Not trying to start something but as a medical person with a research background, there’s nothing currently proving that out there in terms of the available research.

“Medical person” and “research background” are so vague that your entire statement by default has no validity. I said what I said because, for years, there have been thorough scientific articles published about the negative effect of bras on breast health. Breasts are like any other part of the body – when you don’t let them move on their own, they weaken; when any part of the body weakens, the potential for bad cell replication increases. That’s what causes cancer.

To be fair, tanktops and other loose fitting articles can provide structure without taking away the ability for the breasts to move enough to remain strong. But bras and other tight fitting articles should not be used.

            Doctor (of medicine)

            Master of International Public Health

            Literature Search

(I’m generally quiet about this because like no-one cares and I’m only mentioning it because it’s directly relevant to the topic at hand.)

Believe me, if there’s papers showing this or a medical consensus on this, I want to know about it. All I’ve been able to find so far are statements of no causal links as of yet.

I can’t imagine especially in this day and age being hidden from general discourse because it’s huge if confirmed scientifically.

It’s actually the first result in Google. The study in question isn’t the only one, but it’s the most thorough and detailed.

As for it causing cancer, there’s no direct studies because that’s not how cancer works – it’s never directly caused by external factors, because it’s an internal process. Cancer refers to cells that do not function like they should and continue to replicate so there are more bad cells; because they’re an extension of the body’s natural processes, they’re hard to detect by protector cells, which is why they grow out of control.

By default, anything which helps to create cells with improper function indirectly causes cancer. When a part of the body does not develop as it’s supposed to, the chance of bad cells being created increases. Because bras harm natural breast development, they de facto cause cancer.

‘First link on Google’ isn’t even remotely a reputable source, I’m talking reputable research paper and cancer foundations up to the Susan Komen organisation call it proven or flat out a myth.

There’s nothing I’m finding backing this. Also, “there’s no direct studies because that’s not cancer works”, that is how research works and hence how Sir Richard Doll’s groundbreaking epidemiological study and scientific statistical analysis of data showed how smoking caused lung cancer.

We don’t have anything for bras and showing they cause breast cancer in breast cancer. As the statement goes, “Big if true”. As of yet, it has not. Possibly may never be.

Guess the point is ‘worn consecutively‘, meaning ‘never taken off’
Butt, what woman does that? For one thing, it would make cleaning oneself very difficult and awkward

Bras were designed by a man whom did not have to wear it. The only time they are comfortable to wear is when doing some activity that requires them to be restrained for comfort.

Bra burning is not a myth. It wasn’t a feminist phenomenon, or a feminist message or protest, but it did happen and is not a myth.

I already knew this to be the case, but here is a site that provides details for anyone who can’t use Google for themselves: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/feminist-bra-burning/

They didn’t say bra burning was a myth, they said the bra-burning myths about feminism were myths, in other words, the generally perceived reasons are a myth

Damit, only the first ‘bra burning’ and ‘reasons’ were supposed to be in italics 🙁
