    I wouldn’t put it past Teresa to do something like this to Tiffany. Or to cast some illusion that makes Tiffany appear as her so that she could go after the Grand Cleric personally.

    @Aberham102: Except the people that woke him clearly knew it was Typhan-Knee. Unless it activated when Typhan-Knee opened the door, it seems unlikely.

    I have two theories:

    1) It IS a dream, or
    2) Teresa is right behind Typhan-Knee.

    Tess must be behind Tiff. The king already told her she was off the hook as his bed mate.
    Unless this is part of the plan they would not tell Tiff about.

    I will go with Typhan-Knee having walked out at just the right/wrong time to be in front of the bride.

    Just because the Carnal duties are off the books doesn’t mean the marriage plans are cancelled the King has got to find a way for the Kingdom or the Royal Family to keep all that treasure, and save face.

    This had better just be Typh walking out at the wrong time, otherwise her sword arm is going to be having a workout!

    It’s been tried before, no one really cares for a surprise wedding.

    Well, the priest might not know which of two blond’s is supposed to marry and makes a honest mistake, but I don’t think so.

    I’m with those who think that she just walked in at the wrong time. The door opened and that was the cure for announcing the bride, so it got announced early.

    Urtica is not stupid enough to spring this surprise on Typh, denying her the chance to wear the diamond-encrusted white dress with the long train and little white flowers in her hair. That would make her really mad.

    So, yeah, Typh has pretty much spoiled Terry’s entrance. Typh, you goober.

    I can only hope this is cause for misunderstanding… because else the next-in-line is suddenly going to be an option and the Royal Castle will be in for an immediate renovation! 😮

    Again, with everyone assuming Typh is standing in front of or otherwise impeding Teresa’s entrance. As 50srefuge noted, King Urtica is simply not stupid enough to try that…

    Yeah this has to be Typh coming out in front of the bride. There’s just no way that they would pull this on him.

    I notice people using the male pronoun for Typhan.

    I strongly hope this scene is not a reality shift, nor some scheme of the king’s.

      @Cerulean Lion I am trying to treat Typh as though he was a real person rather then just a fictional character. If a real person was tg I would call them by the gender/pronoun they’d prefer usually with fictional characters I use the gender/pronoun I prefer, but I am trying something different here out of respect for a well nuanced character.

    Generally speaking, the bride will have someone…in a future-queen’s case, many someones…with her outside the doors. Someone would have said something if Tiff were going in at a bad time. Hell, Theresa herself wouldn’t have been afraid to check Tiff at the door (see wut I did thar?).

    Unless she just wanted to screw with Tiff, of course.

    @Aberham102:
    The more I look at this, the more I wonder if you may have it right: Typh has had a spell cast on her to make her look like Theresa to the High Priest.

    Why that would be useful does baffle me a bit.

    My biggest reservation is that doing anything like that without clueing Typh herself in on the plot seems risky in several ways–having the apparent bride refer to the wedding as a “Nightmare” not least among them.

    But frankly, the idea that even hung over, Typh would not notice the bridal party as she blew past seems at least equally suspicious. As does the idea that the bride herself wouldn’t intercept Typh, or that the wedding guests wouldn’t notice that Typh isn’t dressed as a bride.

    I’d kinda hate to think that this is, in fact, a nightmare from which Typh will wake up, groggy and a bit panicked.

    But none of the ideas floated so far pass the smell test. And there’s the fogginess of the scene, unlikely in such bright sunlight.

    Which is all to say, I dunno.

    @50srefugee:
    This will become a nightmare if this starts showing signs of becoming overly girly, or if Tiff all the sudden is dressed as the bride.

    Though if she really is illusion-lookalike to Theresa, then Theresa expects the High Priest to make an attempt on her life. If he tries to kill her, that curse defense might kick in. How would that be for proving the church wrong?
