“Ugh! Gabby, I broke another nail. Hand me the Broken Wind sword thingie so I can trim.”

“North Wind! It’s called NORTH Wind and it’s not a nail trimmer! AND MY NAME’S ALORA, NOT GABBY!!!”

As for the Sword Tiff needs to Kill things..And NorthWinds to Gentle. Only one it ever Killed was her dad that made Faden look innocent 🙂

Are we to see new horizons, then? This seems like a great opportunity to completely change the setting to something never before seen in the comic.

might be good to move from the kingdom, give the writter a chance to stretch it thoughts on the world.

Tiff is looking very un-brawny right now, talking with the princess.

I think Tiff had a feeling how things would turn out and she had already made peace with any outcome.

I don’t think Tiff was built for life in the castle anyway. Wilderness adventures, here we come!

Banished. Sounds like a new adventure arc, guaranteed to result in returning in 50 pages.

This will work out in Tiffany’s favor. I wonder how much of her treasure she will be able to take with her.

This feels like an ending. Or at the very least, an “End of Book 1” kind of thing, like when a manga does a time skip, or something like that. Obviously everything up to this point wouldn’t be all one book, but this feels like it’s leading up to the most major change in the comic’s history. Everything so far has involved Peonie and the Alliance. Bringing her back there, bodyguarding her while there, protecting her while on vacation from Typh’s job there. But now we’re moving away from the Alliance permanently and leaving Peonie behind? This is a major paradigm shift.

Quick question. Where is Tiff NOT banished? She can’t go hone, abd the alliance is off limits which I believe means Neese is off limits (shame since I would have loved more Tiff granny interactions). The only other country I am aware of is the Rus and I can’t imagine them being to welcoming. Are there some countries that haven’t been mentioned before now for some reason?

    …Did the artist change?
I just noticed Tiffany’s face looks different somehow today; and looking through the archives this whole scene has looked a little bit different, artistically.

Also, does the sword have some sort of magical properties I forgot about? Because they are talking about it as if it were more than just a sword.

@Marscaleb Northwind said to be invincible and intelligent..It Never cuts untrue.. And be the mightiest Blade in creation.. Capable of removing any curse. These powers might be exaggerated or it just might want Tiff cursed. Its shown to refuse to cut Innocent people that would of got Tiff in Trouble and Never worked for her father who it kills. So yes you could say its magical..But Only on the Level of Like Excalibur..Or ArchAngel Michael’s Sword.. .. . Yes its the Bomb…

The rules explicitly stated that the combat would last until one of the orbs was “pierced”. The orb of the churchman’s champion got pierced, so the churchman lost. Therefore he was unlawfully attempting to escape, and Typh was completely legal in stopping him. She didn’t even need to resign first.

The king is way too smart not to see and exploit this line of reasoning, so clearly the reason he’s not is because the author wants Typh to go off on another adventure, probably with Alicia the Dragon Lady. There are two possible explanations for why it’s being done like this, though:

    1) The current author is not skilled enough to accomplish this result without such obvious railroading, even though the comment sections were brimming with plausible explanations he could have used, or

    2) There is some yet unrevealed reason why the author wants all the characters to believe that Typh is being railroaded unfairly into exile.

Given the overall quality of the writing so far, option 1 seems hard to believe, so I’m hoping that option 2 is the correct answer. The sheer clumsiness of the whole trial-by-combat setup, though, is starting to make me wonder if the current author is simply less skilled than the previous authors. 8-(

    Time will tell.

Wait, Typh’s already banished from the north, and now from the south? Where is he even supposed to go? The ocean? Are we getting pirate adventures now or something? Underground maybe? lol

I think this will have us focus on Peonie and the aftermath of the recent events, then shift to Tiff once he’s already settled into the new land.

I trust neither The Clever One’s, nor the barbarian, kingdoms cover all that much of the planet. so plenty of places she can wander freely. perhaps investigate what passes for the mystical east in this realm. 🙂
