Future strips could invalidate, but based on what I’ve seen so far, Typh as the elder son knew about the three sisters. For whatever reason, the younger brother didn’t. Know he either still doesn’t know or really really really doesn’t WANT to know.
I think Typh is agreeing with him not because of a retcon but because Typh just doesn’t want to shatter his universe. Though why the existence of sisters would do that I do not know…Unless of course Diana is one of them…;)
Perhaps Typhan didnt have any sisters but Tiffany do? How deep did that curse digg?
Oh, great. We’re doing a crossover with DC Comics and the Max Lord storyline now (well we’ve already done a “Crisis” storyline – which changes the Exiern World FOREVER!). I suppose it will be worth it to see Tiff in a Power Girl outfit though … um… just out of curiosity would a donation towards the strip secure a Tiff in a Power Girl outfit piece of art?
@Skeffles. Tiff’s BEEN in a “Power Girl” outfit, it served to draw demons that attack with their genitals. Tiff beat them easily, and got a shopping discount at the store that “accidentally” gave her “demon bait” armor.
Oh, geez. Bring up extra characters just to ret-con them away? The “Dreamer” has been hitting some strange cigarettes, hasn’t he?
The sad thing is I know that there are going to be early aspects of my storyline where people are going to yell “Crisis! Crisis!” and I’ll just have to put up with it and wait it out until the end.
Because, while I do get a kick out of what DC did with the original Crisis storyline, pretty much every other Crisis or history-changing event has just annoyed me and driven me away from DC. I’m a big fan of lengthy continuity, and if it looks like things are not heading that direction I hope people trust I have a plan.
I think my favorite DC Crisis story is the one they are doing right now. Editorial Crisis! Starring Didio-man and no one (because they’ve all quit).

Hmm, yes. Sisters you have. Hide them away we did. To protect them from your father’s anger. Nearby, one of them lives. Married a Nerf herder, she did.
Ugh, if this is a rewrite history type of story, I really hope it affects tiff in a serious way, like make it so that she has always been a woman, and there is no longer a curse to remove. Otherwise that type of story generally isn’t very good. It needs to do something significant and permanent to the characters, not be a ‘what if’ type of thing that gets undone later.
Regarding DC, they HAD to do the original crisis in the 80s. They badly needed a reboot, but they didn’t do a good enough job at the time, and they didn’t set any ground rules for the writers going forward. That’s how DC devolved into ‘the universe is going to blow up’ every year or two. Or characters were being killed and brought back to life constantly, because every hack writer wanted to do something epic.
This is one of those annoying families where nobondy knows how to end a conversation.

This *could be* more reality slip, but look at the emphasis, expressions, and when Tiff starts agreeing. Will is emphatic that there are no sisters, not just dismissive. Will knows the sisters exist, but doesn’t want anyone within earshot to know, especially after what just happened with the shaman’s wife. There are those who’d use family of the current leader as leverage anyway they could, and if its not common knowledge where or who they are, then its likely they’ve been sent away on purpose. Perhaps in other tribes that alliances were needed with…
It’s real simple: Those two had elder sisters. by the time Melan-Knee was born, they were all dead, but Typhan-Knee was old enough to remember them.

Is Tiff getting the same brain-reset in the last panel that Willie got? Or is she just ‘playing along’ because she understands that something has caused him to forget their sisters and he is not ‘playing dumb’?

@ScottHicken No offence meant to you Scott I assume its a Reality slip Story or even a spell cast so they could escape Dad., But to be honest I hate Time travel in stories and reality rewrites as a General rule , Not because of HOLY continuity but BECAUSE they get convoluted and destroy stories with easy escapes making anythink happen have easy outs, Example.. Faden Won he killed and Raped The Princess and Achieved god like Power! No Choice TIFF USE the acme MC Doctor Doom Time Cube! All good ! Oh wait Princess still dead! hit again! Ok now she still raped ! hit again! OH NO Neil Died a hero! No Choice TIFF USE the acme MC Doctor Doom Time Cube! ok Princess GOT PREGNANT HIT THE CUBE WE MUST GO BACK AND GIVE HER A CONDOM!!! All Fied OH NO PRINCESS got COFFEE on her DRESS ! Time Travel TIME!!!!
This kind of stupid Ruined the Original Dark Shadows.. Barnabas Collins Would just trance out and rewrite history. It got easier and easier. Which is the history with this sort of thing.. Made every Event in a story less Real less Permanent. Neil Dies With stormbringer in the heart sacrificed him self to save the world, his soul Eaten trapped in a hell for all time. No problem Doom cube time… And then it starts with the stories so mixed up you need to use a graph to keep track…

Sounds to me like tiff’s getting a full brain rewrite: brainwash-style, but it’s not yet strong enough to get a good grip on her psyche and therefore falters when she really thinks about it

For some reason, I can’t see the comic on this page. The previous page is fine, and the next page is fine, it’s just this one. The image looks like it’s loading, and then just disappears.
Obviously a lot of other people have had no trouble viewing this page. I’m using the latest version of Firefox. Does anyone might know what might be causing it?
I just tried viewing it on Internet Explorer. The image loaded, but remained pixelated, which meant I couldn’t read anything on it. I don’t know what’s happening, or why only this page is affected.
