    I like those two. 🙂
    I might like Alicia. I haven’t decided yet.

    Have Neils and Bors already discussed the migratory patterns of African swallows, or is that still pending?

    I lke the expression on Alicia’s mount, kind of like “we have to listen to this yammer?” I miss the unicorn having (facial? muzzle?) expressions…

    Have an extra ‘e’ and a spare apostrophe.

    Gotta love those two 😀
    Its like having two friendly armored high-IQ court-jesters as companions 😀

    Relax, Peonie. Eventually, something will attack you and rip off all that restricting cloth, anyway.

    CaptNerd: nah, Lici weighs more than she looks 😛

    Guesticus: Never bring up a lady’s weight, particularly if there is a good chance she could fry you to death (quite literally) with her breath!

    Yes, yes, this is all fine and dandy, but what is the approximate air velocity of a coconut being carried by an un-laden Dragon?

    Boaty McBoatface: North American? Or Australian?

    Alicia has saddled herself a brontothere!

    @O.B. Juan – Good eye! That is originally what I sent to Shipeng when he was drawing those earlier pages. But he added some additional details that set it apart from the actual animal so you’ll see it referenced as a brontodon! But I had originally envisioned a legit brontothere for her ride!

    I just wanna jump in here and say that I applaud your work here, Scott. You’ve got a very novel story that balances plot, drama, and humor better than I did, that’s for sure.

    I have to ask if that first panel always had that text planned or if that might be a reference to some recent events in Dark Reflections.

    Heh, I still love those guards. Niels and Bohr are a regular class act.

    @Zen – Although my dialogue is usually refined at the time I put it to the comic page, the general points had always been in the outline from as far back as last year.

    @chemiclord – You flatter me. Thanks very much for the kind words, I especially appreciate them from someone who I feel wrote one of the deepest and most difficult story arcs in Exiern’s history, and one that I still point to as an example of what Exiern is capable of in its finest moments.

    @chemiclord

    I’m going to have to side with Scott against Scott there. When I first discovered all this in late 2015, my still all-time favourite arc is the whole Wild North section when among other things Exiern hit peak Rashomon.

    Also, it really tied together very well a lot of things that had been hinted previously about our lead character really well and quite naturally. It most definitely wasn’t pulled out of thin air which is why it was such a good revelation.

    @ScottHicken

    That’s not to say that you’re not still OK, though. I think you’re doing all right, myself.

    Why is Peonie binding her tracts of land THIS time?
