I can just imagine Osir finishing this story arc with a monologue as he stands above the camp on an overhanging rock. Old Mac and Macenzie standing by his side as he speaks about the return to slumber of one dreamer and the waking of the next with the rise of another narrator.
Old Mac would place a comforting hand upon his shoulder and then tell him with a tear in his eye.
“This is such an aesthetically pleasing location for a monologue.”
You mean the king himself? Because we all know he is a guy who does anything to keep Tiff in good hand and how does an assassin knew the barbarian was a female and was in King’s court? On the other hand king kne Tiff’s real name and where to find her so it was just a plot by our king since Tiff refused to marry with him. Either she will be slaughtered or Peonie act as a mediator and agree to marry Tiff’s brother or Tiff became new chief of village which makes her away from hs kingdom 😛
Not necessarily. Tiff’s brother probably just heard that “Typhon-Knee” was making waves down south, and sent somebody to hire an assassin. That assassin (who is NOT a barbarian) was contracted to kill “Typhon-Knee,” northern barbarian. The gender of the target wouldn’t necessarily have been mentioned in the contract.
The assassin asks around, and finds out that a barbarian with the right name is staying at the palace, learns that she sleeps in room X, and attacks.
I am still wondering what Faden is up to. I mean we know his hand is still out there and he seems to be able to work through it in a fashion. I am hoping Dragon Denver gets some sort of “Big Damn Heroes” moment just when Faden thinks he has the upper hand.
Well, at least this narrator isn’t spitting out the word “DOOM!” (like the guy in the very first strip). I recently read an anthology of comic fantasy by various authors (including, et al, Neil Gaiman) and one story was particularly funny, featuring a demon that only rented weapons (so that no one could ever own one, at least not without a really ridiculous installment plan), a wizard allergic to magic and a barbarian who kept on spouting the word “Doom” regardless of whether it was appropriate or not. We’ve had a fairly peaceful interlude with people talking, soaking in hot baths and one breast-resting dragon so we’re probably overdue for some “doom” right about…now.
The shaman knew all about “Typhon-Knee” Transformation And he is not happy with The New Chief as he was way happy with “Typhon-Knees” return though its not fully explain why he so hot to get rid of Wyll-line, Maybe he did not try to save the foreign blood or was even behind the purge and wondering if he will join the other 3 yahoos ?
But what ever the reason he wants Typh to kill her brother.
And so the Shaman is the only one who knew Tiff Identity, has Motive and with his position Opportunity to hire a Assassin in the Wyll-line name.
@Deimos Faden is imprisoned by the Authority Robots. Witch is both smart and stupid. Princess got him locked up imprisoned like she had been thats the smart part. The Dumb part is This IS FADEN ,and to quote Reed Richards when he Explained why he saved Dr Doom from Hell”Saved YOU WHO ARE YOU KIDDING I SAVED THEM! 6 Months You be running the JOINT!”
Thats not the Authority Those are the Authority’s Robots and he locked up in there base all Alone with Machines that when supervised can Enslave GODS! And Faden a true Wizard with a Knowledge of Science.
Trapped in a Abandoned Prison run by Robots that have been shown to be open to manipulation.
Sorry his dose not need Magic just his brain. And him Escaping the Military Base of the Gods witch has Infinity Powerful Weapons and Troops and maybe he Location of the Travelers is the least of Typh Problems.
But hey to take over that place He need a basic understanding of Machines that oh wait he has, A Manipulative Nature, oh wait he has, And a genius Level Intelligence witch he HAS.. And for the Place to be unattended witch it is.
What is he up to in a Armory that concurred the gods? A wizard Exposed to science beyond human understanding?
Well here the first thing he would do. “Guard this is inhumain, You feed my body and need to keep me .. that includes sane right?” Robot “correct”
Faden”Well I am a wizard and I need to feed my mind to stay sane”
Robot “Access is Granted to prison Library and terminal ” Faden”lets see this looks good, basics in Robotic Programing and Exploits” Big Grin…
Three thoughts I had looking over this page again.
1. I wonder how Tiffany would respond to Osir calling her a Heroine instead of a plain Hero.
2. Where is Neil’s sword? Missing, art error or some additional magic like it’s electo mode that allows it to disappear or shrink out of site at the will of the holder? Meh, the dreamer works in mysterious ways *LOL*
2. Is Peonie picking out a wedgie in that last panel?
I don´t think that it is s easy for Faden to subvert the prison guards. I have no idea who else is there but Faden is probably on the lower tier in power and intellect compared to some of the inmates. The Travelers themselves could be imprisoned there. Or at least the higher ups of their servants.
if it´s really some kind of high tech prison it could be that the guardians simply cryofreeze him. Still mortal after all.

Hm. I wonder who’s narrating now.
Still Osir for the time being.
If you hadn’t already said so I would have voted for Denver in some new dragon whelp narrating powers. Dragons narrate right?
I think it’s been established they do whatever they please…
🙂
Who ever is narrating, had better be paying attention where Tiff is in relation to them (Tiff looks in the mood for some “Narrator Noogies”)
Now what? This was to find money guy behind the Assassin that Tiff think is her brother.I am not so certain.

Charles81, that would be awesome.
@ Amethyst
I would vote for Zanith to be the new narrator myself. So much potential for annoying Peonie there.

Forgot something: Moortal: I mean that he probbly still has a limited lifetime. If not, well he looks like one.
Ad somehow i don´t think that a prison built by gods has a prison library. They probably keep their inmates unconscious.
