But then why didn’t Olivia remember Isabel? Isabel also mentioned being a student of “Thomas”. You’d think they would have been more familiar with each other.
Proper character development via flashback, well done. Looks like it’s been quite some time since the incident since Thomas has hair in the flashback, but didn’t when he met Typh and Peonie and got “infected” by the curse.
It seems likely that Olivia was pretending not to know Isabel for the benefit of whoever is responsible for the spell song they’re currently hiding from. They weren’t in the secure room when she acted like she didn’t know her.
So she became one of his students. I take it he was teaching her spellsinging? Doesn’t that go against the (still mysterious) no female spell singers rule?
50srefugee – i don’t think Isabel mentioned being a student of Thomas, but they knew each other fairly well, for whatever reason – when she first met “Teresa”, she was freaked out by the intimate details “Teresa” knew about her.
I just did an archive binge for a project, and i re-read their “first” meeting.
Teresa also said “I taught you well” to Isabel after the exchange i believe. Maybe that’s were the thought of her being a student of Teresa comes from.

I wonder if that event will come back to bite them. Kinda doubt the old man would leave it at that.
Bandit, do you remember where Isabel mentioned that?
In any event, it seems the three know each other well. Isabel’s preferred hiding place was not a secret.

LOL “She Terrible at it!”
@JMV Teresa was never of fan of that rule though.
JMV: Olive was probably not the sort of student you are thinking of, but more along the lines that Izzie was
