The plot thickens, noticed that Bohr’s was a lil concerned even though he’s in full armour when Peonie was hangin’ off of him. 🙂

Anyone else find it odd that he referred to the king by his first name alone? No title or honorific?

Heh heh, loving this page, what with a crazed Princess P-cups all up in Bohrs’ grill in the first panel and Niels’ resigned eyes in the 2nd followed by a still grumpy Princess P-cups in the 3rd, pure genius from the artist 😀

Hmmm, has Terry been going around converting the priests to her side? ie kissing them and turning them into transgender girls who like being kissed by transgenderized girls

I’m very slow for just noticing this. But why are these men wearing loincloths over full-body metal armor? There’s absolutely no purpose in it except to serve as a cover for metal cups and I can’t believe these guys or the king is that modest.

@polar shark. He never said the king’s name. he simply said your father.

@Ragingagnostic. It’s probably a decorative thing to show their affiliation to their country.

ok i stand corrected. He did say Urtica. Yeah that is weird for a royal guardsman.

Especially weird for Urtica’s men, Urtica, who insists that his DAUGHTER refer to him as King or Your Majesty in public…

His majesty Urtica most likely has close ties to his guards. I am guessing they were part of his adventuring party before he became king. He doesn’t seem to be the kind of man who inherited his position.

Might be The first Lady of the church is unlocking a few collars.

Why is the part I find odd is that Peonie is wearing pants? I would have thought her to us the tunic as a mini-dress considering her usual successes with things like heavy furs.

@Kaian Niels been giving herself defence lessons. My guess is she needs Pants for that as Neil Knows she would trip and impale herself in skirts. The Running Leap also a indication of that training.

My guess is Urtica is ok with bohrs calling him by name in private but not public. Bohrs was probably relaxed here because only the inner circle was around

Those are not ‘loincloths’, they are kinda like ‘tabards’, to show who they serve, like Kovold said

@Guesticus yep real Knights did the same thing but with cloaks and vests, British often wear mercenaries and wear Reversible cloaks and vests to switch to the highest bidder. Hence the term turnCoat.

    @Krono

Doesn’t the king go bowling with his guards? They invited him to join the team anyway. As for making his daughter call him by his title, well that dude is all about playing games to control people but his guards seem to be the only two people who are above that, which I think is why Niels had to go on the redemption/punishment quest for not being 100% his man even though powerful sorcery was involved and he still managed to maintain some loyalty and tip the King off.

Anyone else finding the placement of Peonie’s top buttons to be distracting?

    Buttons?

I see no buttons. I see a horizontal wrinkle caused by cloth stretched at two places.
