Oh crap, I put the dialogue tail in panel 1 going the wrong direction. That line is meant to be from Cantos. I will fix it later.
I *was* thinking that made more sense but I figured if it was the case, things would sort themselves out sooner or later like they usually do.
He dropped in to talk to her because he wanted to get something off his chest.

Where did he pull that from? Is there a pocket dimension in line with his sternum??
Armpit-purse (which clearly contradicts “Pecunia non olet.” 😉
Hammerspace would be my go-to guess as to where that money appeared from as it is for any seemingly over-sized object for the seemingly available pockets in the vicinity unless clearly demonstrated otherwise.
Of course, Typh’s hammer creates a different kind of Hammerspace in anyone unlucky enough to be on the receiving end of it.
