Remember: just because a character doesn’t get along with the protagonist doesn’t make them the bad guy.
From his point of view, he’s a loyal officer of His Majesty’s navy, having earned a command position and the respect of juniors and seniors as first officer aboard a ship of the fleet. Here is this admitted criminal who committed murder and worse in his/her previous life as a barbarian raider, came to his ship incognito as an official prisoner, and has been anything but diplomatic to him since their arrival.
He’s basically treating Typh the way Nick Fury treated Loki when they had him in custody in the first Avengers film. And… not without reason.
He doesn’t have to be a ‘bad’ guy to be a douche
Typh doesn’t have to be diplomatic to the twit, they are on a mission from
GodKingieThe only ‘crime’ Typh committed was cutting the dick off of a paedophile priest, butt considering near the whole damn church is corrupt, Kingie had to made a show of ‘punishing’ Typh until he can fumigate the rest of the paedophile cult

1: Typh DOES have to be “diplomatic,” if she wants to be professional. They both serve the same boss – and being an arrogant jerk towards someone with good reason to be distrustful is how you get “inter-service rivalries” and conflicts that get in the way of getting the job done.
2: Typh does indeed have a spotlessly clean rap sheet… unless you count all the murders, attempted rapes, assaults, thefts, arson, etc. You know, all the things he did prior to his banishment after his father caught him raping (or at least preparing to rape) a boy.
Typh Was from a race of Professional Dough-bags Might be the reason he hated the pedophile priest so much..He saw her self or the potential self in the Priest. And Weirdly did to the Priest what Faden did to him self.. Cock Removal Minus the Magic.. On the Other Hand even if Typh a Official Prisoner it was Made clear Typh Anything BUT And has the Kings Backing and Daughter and acting as the the King’s Executioner and Politically Very stupid to be treating her anything less than a Guest ..Additionally its made clear Typh Serves the King and acted on his Will. And they should be treating Typh a little better.
