Turning an innocent woman to wood is fine and all, but those puns are a crime against humanity. In worlds without Geneva Conventions, you get cruel torture like this.
Hey all, just wanted to post a little heads-up here about Giving Tuesday and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, where my wife works. You can learn more about it in the post I made yesterday:
This arc has officially become trunk-ated. Which is a shame because I had a budding enjoyment of and attraction to Emse; she was really growing on me. Now, though, I doubt she’ll live long enough to open that new branch she was talking about. I was kinda hoping the blonde chick would turn out to be more bark than bite, but oh well. Now I hope someone shoots her with a pistil. Or has the stamen-a to take her in hand-to-hand combat.
Maybe it’s me, but the punning in this page felt really forced and discordant with what’s going on and has been going on in the story. Doesn’t help what has been a pretty hard to stick with sidestory (and yes, I’ve read the behind the scenes rationale for that already).
Be a Producer!Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that yew’ve been dying to ply us with these puns fir a while now…
I bow to your pun power, those were great Larathiel.

So what did they do? I’m stumped.
I’m glad people are sprucing up the comments with all the puns I didn’t have room for.
This is knot good, how is CePip going to get answers from a block-head?
Ce is a real Birch sometimes. Her knotty behavior could use some Sprucing up…….
We don’t even have time to pine for the poor guy in the dressing room.
Pining for an answer.
Elm case anyone is curious why she chose wood for the “thematic selection” see panel 3: http://www.exiern.com/2017/09/13/in-search-of-breach/
Would you all stop this now please?
You mean to say “I’m sequoia punning around”?
Should we branch out into something else?
I suspect the subtltrees of my previous comment might have missed by some …

Call the brain-surgeon and fetch a drill, that woman is in desperate need of tree-punning.
Wow. For a moment I thought I was reading “Pearls Before Swine”.
All it needs is a final panel of a rat threatening the artist.
