Swords, Sorcery, And Then Some!
Howdy, New Readers! Thanks for reading Exiern!
Written by Scott T. Hicken with art by Antipus, the comic updates Mondays. Please check out the Archive to enjoy the earlier adventures of Typh and Peonie!
Exiern contains mature themes and is best for readers 18+.
This is different, I mean we’ve all heard someone make a comment about tearing off ones arm and beating them to death with it, but beating one to death with their own tail is new..
It looks like Typh might finally be winning this one. Just because someone didn’t read the Villain’s guide to beating the Good Guy.
I’m certain that the tail is probably wiggling about a bit, like lizard tails do, which normally confuses the predator, and provides for a potential extra boom to that beating.
I’m thinking about the Dark Souls games and the number of enemies with tails that could be chopped off to provide powerful weaponry. Including at least two dragons in the first game alone… (plus two gargoyles. In the first game alone)
Good point, Kuraimizu. But forget about beating her with her stupid tail. Typh has already made two good solid hits with the sword. She needs to keep stabbing, hacking and slashing with it.
Typh moves in fast! Getting a surprise attack in is one thing, but three positive shots in the time it takes Alicia to gain her composure? Either Alicia is way slow for a magical creature, or Typh is unusually fast with that sword.
SlugFiller remember Typh isn’t a novice fighter, she’s quite skilled, Alicia is probably depending on sheer strength and native ability but like Denver i’m betting has had little to no formal training, that makes a HUGE difference
Be a Producer!Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
Did Tiff learn how to fight Dragons from Groo? If i remember he always went for the tail 9/8 times lol
Do dragons have to worry about blood lost, because she is leaking worse than my old car.
If Typh didn’t threaten Alicia with “I’ll cut your tail off and beat you with the bloody end!”, she should have!

so dragons are not gekkos – those drop their tails to confuse predators.
Mmmm dragontail stew. Dragontail skewers. Dragontail teriyaki. “Sweet and creamy. ”
And the dragon can just eat her tail herself, and it will grow right back. Flump!
According to Miss Kobyashi’s Dragon Maid, anyway.
Oh, THAT MP reference… funny, first I was thinking of the fish-slapping dance.
…the line is supposed to come AFTER the bits-choppy-stuff for the Black Knight scene. 😛
Beaten by your own tail. That’s a bitch.

sorry Tiff but truth is truth …you cut off a body part and beat someone with it you are indeed a bitch.
She is the meanest bitch in the Valley.
Another unmentioned Python connection:
“Ooooh, Typh got a piece of dragon tail, know what I mean, nudge nudge, say no MORE!”
cutting off the tail is a very good strategy, she’ll quickly bleed out and die from that wound. even quicker the more active she is.

In Dark Souls, if your enemy has a big prominent tail, you could usually chop it off for a powerful new weapon…..
Typh moves in fast! Getting a surprise attack in is one thing, but three positive shots in the time it takes Alicia to gain her composure? Either Alicia is way slow for a magical creature, or Typh is unusually fast with that sword.
If she uses her tail as balance she’s going to be wobbly for a while.
Alicia is overconfident. That’s an occupational hazard for a young dragon.

In Exiern, your a!s kicks you.
“Tis but a scratch.”
“It’s just a flesh wound.”
“I’ve ‘ad worse.”
“All right. We’ll call it a draw.”
So many to pick from!
Hmm, seems Alicia was quite… attached to her tail 😛
But now their relationship has been severed,
She’s a bitch, she’s a lover
@O.B Juan
”I’m invincible!”
”You’re a loony”
The Dragon Bitch always triumphs! Have at thee!
“I’m not a bitch” as she bitch slaps the dragon with its own tail.
