suddenly there’s a necklace in panel 2. then it disappears again.
My guess is she is going to fight Tiff. I hope she is smart to at least observe and or ask a question first. Like she claim to be a page or two back.

@Guesticus Sorry Man but at this point the question of Niels’ niece being a bitchthug is a boat Named Titanic. It sailed and sank a long long time ago. Probably when the three dicks Murdered her Mom.
No, there is never an excuse for being a bitchthug, specially to someone who did as they were told; she lost a lot of sympathy from me for that move
She’s pretty much making trouble when there isn’t any to be had at this point.
@Guesticus you misunderstand or I was not clear she IS wrong and a Bully but I was Explaining not justifying. But if I was to play Devils Activate I would point out she grew up with them and it might be that they have very bad history. Its easy to show sympathy for the weak but not ten years before she would be the weak one.
A child with two full grown men.
They might of had there daily beatings coming.
Possible Reasons that might justify it.
1 They were basic bullies and beat her to show her men were stronger.
2 They caught her mom trying to escape.
3 They stood by when some one raped her as a child or young teen(if they did it they be long dead)
4 They were the Old Leaders Toadys/ Snitches.
5 They used to beat there wives.
Now I am not saying any of thats true but they got history and very BAD history Judging by her reaction. So this might be a Personal issue And in theory could be justified or She might just be a Jerk. Only time will tell.
Ya know… I like seeing this response. It wasn’t too long ago that there was a pretty clear delineation that senseless violence was… I don’t want to say acceptable, but was considered tastelessly humorous (especially if it was from a woman to a man).
Now, with that said, Diana DOESN’T have much patience with these particular two barbarians, but also knows they are easily intimidated, and scared shitless of Wyll (and thus by extension her), and that both are useful not just in getting IN to the hall, but to encourage their silence as well as secure other tools.
It’s a little bit family-related drama (the dwarf and his family didn’t exactly shed a tear when Irene, Diana’s mother, was cut to pieces, and by that I mean they celebrated the executions quite loudly), a little bit personal issues (she was frequently teased and tormented by Crop-Corl, the human of the pair)… but that’s all stuff that is apocryphal knowledge that isn’t laid out in the comic.
Diana has her failings, and one of them is that once she HAS a personal grudge with you… it’s a VERY slow forgiveness phase. There’s another you’ve seen hints of, but I won’t lay that one out yet.
Being female she had to get very good at committing acts of violence for these guys to fear her so. I’d place Diana in the same category of Tomo Gozen. One of the few female samurai and a general at that. She most likely can kill/dismember faster than you can spit.
Chemiclord: thank you for explaining that she does have a reason for what she did on this page, other than just because she is a bully, so you have not made her a bitchthug 😀
There’s a whole bunch of side stories that could be told about the inner workings and politics of the barbarian tribes and the clans within those tribes.
But honestly, if you poll the readers, this story has probably gone on longer than it should.
I’ve got it. The necklace disappears when she gives an order. Otherwise, she has it. Look at the last five pages.
Personally enjoying every minute of it, have no problem with the length of the arc so far
Well, seeing as they are standing to the sides, enough that they are backed up against the wall, thus, NOT blocking the door. They are already out of the way. She’s just indulging her need to be a douche.

Sleel: agreed, but as Chemiclord pointed out, there is bad personal history with those three (those two are lucky they are still alive at all, if not for Willie… )
