Nooooo, sorry Tiff, that isn’t quite as ridiculous as “It’s up to the fair maiden to rescue the dragon in distress from the fire-breathing knights in shining armor.”

I wonder if this is part of why Typhan-Knee eventually insists on being called Typhan-Knee instead of Tiffany.

Minor typo in the last panel: there is no e in “ridiculous.”

Well Jake, if you had to go around explaining people why you are named like a male barbarian all the time, things would get awkward.

“Misogynistic”? Is that a sign of Typh’s exposure to dread civilization?

Regardless, it’s an acknowledgement of who she is now, and how she feels about who she was, and I like it.

I’m also wondering if what happens here is part of why the spell reacted so badly to her trying to wear a male uniform.

Speaking of, fabulous outfit, by the way.

    Shipeng, a mild art critique:

In frame three, you actually shaded Typh’s blush, quite attractively, I must add.

There is no need for the hatching to back it up.

But in the frame above it, I do like the three sprays indicating startled dismay.

And I approve of Typh’s expressions overall. Nicely done.

Even if it’s ridiculous, if it contains valid facts you know to be true (when others shouldn’t) it would be more believable.

The truth can be more fantastic than the most carefully constructed lie.

Thing is, in this world getting a magical sex change is not that fantastic. Magical stuff happens all the time.

Considering that the old lady lives next door to Landsharks, why the hell not.

@TotallyAnon: I do like that she knew Typhan-Knee was a barbarian name. Does this mean Peonie was the only one that didn’t know?

“You look just like her, and you have her feistiness, so it must be true, come in and tell me about what happened to her, and you”

    Has anyone considered Peonie’s name?

    Typhan-Knee
    Melan-Knee
    Peon-Knee?

For some reason, I really love the way that last panel was drawn. I find it aesthetically pleasing.
