So… was Urtica an adventurer who become king through a ‘One Princess’ hand in marriage with every kingdom saved’ sort of deal? No wonder he’s got a soft spot for Typhan-Knee; reminds him of when he was young and brash 🙂
Though I guess Urtica was a rogue rather than a warrior; or maybe he dual-classed the two?
Christopher: can’t be Faden, unless Kingie has a way to get people out of whatever Traveller Prison Typh tossed Faden’s arse (and the rest of him, minus one hand) into
I just wish that now and again the author would bring back some of the gender changing and the characters’ thoughts about it that got me interested in Exiern in the first place.

Yay, story’s back!
By the by, it’s “throne”, not “thrown”.
Unless, of course, Urtica ascended to being tossed across the room…which is entirely possible.
Chances are that skeleton might not be dead yet or at least can still talk.
I also give it an average chance that it is Faden himself.
What I am surprised at however is that the story starts off with Urtica. So far I thought Tiffany was the core of the story?
@Christopher – Just a prologue, don’t worry! 🙂
@Andor – Crap, nice catch!

Be funny if the voice says I know who mean same answer…
Could this be a dream of Urtica’s?
Urtica it turns out use to be a woman when a weird gender change magic turned her into a man….
I’m loving this page. That’s all.

If it’s a prologue, it could be Faden before meeting Tiffany.
If it is, he’s certainly cleaned up well between this point and meeting Typh.
Naldru: a ‘prologue’ is not the same as a ‘prequel’
Oh, is that Bohrs and Niels talking out there?

@ Lee Most – This chapter will have quite a bit of that once it gets running.
