A Coda
And thus ends this interstitial arc. We’ll be returning to Typh, Alicia, and the main story after the new year, picking up right with that literal cliffhanger on the 9th of January 2018.
Meanwhile, in the usual Exiern Holiday Season Tradition, there’s going to be some all new artwork posted starting on the 25th, with several more to follow. In the spirit of giving we’ll also be highlighting many of the people who’ve helped out over these last few years to keep Exiern and its associated stories going.
We also want to encourage you to make use of the comments sections over the next few weeks. We want to know about what you’ve liked, what you haven’t, and what sort of things you’d like to see going forwards in the future with Exiern.
As always we look forward to seeing your feedback. 2017 was tough, but we’ve made it.
Thanks for sticking with us,
STH
I’m seeing three almost identical comics stacked vertically. Dialogue in the last two is slightly different.
I too am seeing three almost identical pages. The only difference seems to be the first panel of each page: “Quite comfy actually” instead of “Yes, that’s better.”. The second two pages are identical but different to the first page
It is a glitched caused by the system uploading my corrected page. Sadly I can’t seem to do anything about it.
What sorcery is being used to prevent the seamstress from falling over? o_O
Butt, it was nice of the psychotic nixie to put clothes on her
Oh, Psycho Nixie doesn’t know about the change in Church Hierarchy, does she?
Nor in the fact that “the bitch” is the same one that both made DROWNING A NYMPH HURT, and had the “curse” spread and make the male nymph female in the first place.
I think I found a work around to fix the three page issue, are people still seeing three?
Still getting that encore performance x2, I’m afraid.
I’m not.
Anyone who came to the page BEFORE I implemented the fix may need to clear cookies and reload.
That sounds like work, Scott. I get enough of that at my job.
Never did see more than one page
“We’ll be returning to Typh, Alicia, and…”
Who?
Well, my guess is initially just those two (and the horse equivalents they rode in on) as they land at the bottom of that cliff. I suspect a bit of an altercation is coming.
Woooo!!!!!Its finally over!!!!Also a block of wood can accept things into their soul?-Ah fudge it!thinking in this filler was never a good idea anyway!
From a creative point of view, you try different things and some work better than others. From a logistical and behind the scenes point of view, this arc and this pacing (not the originally intended which was at least twice as fast) were also needed at this time but I think the takeaway lesson is to not do things exactly like this again.
Another interesting branch in the story arc………I seriously need to stop this.
Whatever floats your boat.
There’s a story telling technique where you tell two plot threads at once by interleaving them. This way people don’t forget about one while both play out.
Insufficient funds and resources at the time, unfortunately …
