    Can y’all say two perturbed ladies in the first panel. 🙂 Don’t know who is the more dangerous one, the Drakokin or Typh?

    EAT THE KINGDOM?!?
    Yeah, I think being nice-nice would be a good thing with The Dragon Lady, but keep her busy or feed her well.

    ya know Urtica letting the dragon lady kill the priest solves all of his problems…

    Letting the dragonlady and Typh kill the priest solves that immediate problem. Then he has to deal with the repercussions of that.

    Of course Kingie is going to let Typh kill the priest, then Dragon-Girl eats the body: no body, no proof of foul play 😀

    @Tiger. Typh is the main character. Of course, Typh is more dangerous. And Urtica, Typh didn’t exactly attack you. You walked into her reach while she was busy fighting Theresa.

    @SGT Lewis: Remember that he is from the Militant part of the Church. So he might be more then a worthy challenge for Typh.

    Hell hath no fury than a (barbarian/dragon) woman scorned.

    I thought the king and Theresa were getting married. Here he says to Typh “we are engaged” and she does not correct, but seems to agree. Exactly who is the king marrying?

    @Wolf: Tiff was engaged to Urtica, briefly, as her reward for rescuing Peonie. But she backed out when somebody thought to tell her of her impending marriage.

    Personally, I think Urtica should have wooed her more persuasively. That would have been an interesting honeymoon.

    It would have been a really SHORT honeymoon.

    Oh, now, I’m sure Urtica would take his time, plenty of foreplay–no early spurter he.

    @50srefuge I wouldn’t be so sure, Kings rarely cared about satisfying their lovers and Urtica only wanted to marry Typhan-Knee to have another heir(And Typhan-Knee didn’t appreciate him wanting to use Typhan-Knee as a brood mare).

    And i don’t think any amount of wooing would have helped, he just not Typhan’s type. He should have been honest of his intentions instead of being Shady though.

    @Wolf The King said we ‘were’ engaged, past tense.

    Actually, from the behavior of the women he’s been involved with, Urtica DOES take care to give pleasure as well as receive it. This is not exactly Henry VIII here.

    We only know of one and it was a “business transaction”. It was probably in his best interest that she had a good time in that case.

    I think the king would please his subjects/bed mates to the best of his ability. His is wise as he is cunning. An unsatisfied pissed off bed mate is a unpredictable variable a pleased and content one is a asset and a ally.
    Knowing the King he probably would give Dragon girl a turn if he could.
    If it was a “what would Kirk do moment” Besides having a grateful Dragon as a ex-bed mate would be a asset. Plus she probably doesn’t get many dates since she started to change.

    It’s neat which parts each of them deny… and don’t deny. The dragon knows she’s a monster, while the barbarian is touchy about her curse.

    @Jake engaged, past tense. Is Debatable according to the Law they can not Sleep together till there additional ceremonies with witnesses.

    @Jonathan Winter

    It’s not debatable, since the king is now engaged to Teresa. He’s obviously no longer engaged to Typhan-Knee, so what’s to debate exactly?

  27. Jake
    May 17, 2015, 4:49 am | # | Reply

    Especially since the King called off his engagement to Typhan-Knee after Typhan-Knee made it clear he wasn’t interested.

    So yeah, past tense.

    While the reason Urtica is king may not be because he’s an excellent statesman, or negotiator/diplomat, he most certainly is one nevertheless

    I assume Urtica thinks that Cardinal Dickwad and his goons won’t go down quietly, so he’s recruiting Alicia for some extra muscle when the fighting starts.

    The problem is, they need to play nice until they can get the incriminating documents, and Alicia might not be willing to wait that long… Best keep her far away from Typh, at least.

    @Bandit:

    In Medieval Europe kings probably did think about satisfying their consorts. At that time medicine said that women would not get pregnant if they did not enjoy sex. Given the importance of having an hier, it is probable that many kings made the effort.
