Teresa was worried about going with them. She says they kill or rip out the tongue of a spell singer (I forget which) and rape female, so she did not want to know what they did to a female spell singer.
Faden was a spellsinger? I seem to remember him using a different technique.
Maybe they don’t make these distinctions in the North and every spellcaster is referred to as “spellsinger”
Granddaughter ? Dose that rhyme with New cast member? Me thinks some ones going to be cast out, How? Why? Is the Question. But with this lot it could be her hair changes color.
I may be in the minority here but is there any way you can move the ads for your “special” comics away from the main one? I like Exiern but the others are a little too over-the-top for me and it makes me uncomfortable to see the ad.
@Meem – I swapped the Project Wonderful ad with the ESCa ad. I also removed the ad to my website because, well, who the hell cares about that, really? The ESCa pays the bills so I can’t get rid of the ad altogether, but I certainly don’t want to deter Exiern readers. Hope its slightly lower position helps.
Be a Producer! Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
Granddaughter? Yeah, family hijinks are just around the corner.
Teresa was right… about what?

Neils has a Grandmother? He is gonna be sooo surprised when they meet 😀

Faden IS a spellsinger, for the record… AND a skinwalker AND a thaumaturgist AND an alchemist…
He’s quite the polymath, really. But yes, in this case… Grina kinda uses spellsinger as a general catch all term to describe arcanists in general.
Her clan, her husband AND her granddaughter? That’s a lot to have left!
Now if all she had left was that carrot and that knife…

@Insectoid:
I found the Link, seems i remember correctly 🙂 This is where Teresa mention her issue with going.

“Now if all she had left was that carrot and that knife…”
It’d be the perfect setup for a movie of dubious taste?
Sorry, I’ll get me coat.
Chemiclord, you really should get an avatar.
A visual cue that helps identify posts from the author can be very helpful.
@Lurker: I have a Gravatar. I’m not sure why it doesn’t show up.
