So dragons are giant, flying, fire breathing borgs now? Geez im beginning to wonder how humanity has lasted this in Exiern’s universe. If our ants were as big as dragons i can tell you we wouldnt be on top of the food chain lol.
I just noticed that the princess’ cloths are make to the way they were before. This means that either their leathers have some kind of bonding magic or that she’s a witch.
They are not borg. Borg would have assimilated the humans by magical or technological means, forcefully. They seem to be far more like the “Misaka network” in To Aru Majutsu Index.
BTW, Xenau, ants do quite well in our universe. Tiff demonstrated the way humans exist in a world populated by huge, flying, fire-breathing, hyper-intelligent killing machines (Drowemos’ words, not mine) – BY NOT ANTAGONIZING THEM. If one attacks your village, you say, “Act of God”, clean up, and go about yer business – you do NOT say, “Stupid Dragon! I’m gonna kill that sumbitch!” That way leads to genocide.
Humans survive because they are needed to raise dragon young and dragon food and act as dragon entertainment. Wild cows don’t taste as good as well fed protected cows.
As well, if it ever came down to war, humans can also communicate with groups of others, some use magic, very nasty poisons and crossbows, magic swords, etc. So dragons probably would suffer some losses.
For both sides not worth provoking other side by playing genocide.
Oh I totally agree that ants do quite well, if not better than humans all things considered.
I’m just saying, if they were man-sized or bigger, then humanity would still be banging rocks together in whatever corner of Africa our species crawled out of. Ants adapt much faster than we do to new situations.
I do agree that at this point possible mutual annihilation is keeping each species in check. I’m just wondering why the dragons allowed the puny humans to get so strong in the first place. I’m sure dragons can incubate there young in other species. Humans aren’t the only intelligent things in Exiern
Hm…. After looking at Peony, you can still call them intelligent? LOL. Besides, you’re all neglecting something. Maybe the dragons just don’t want to be bothered. Maybe they’re religious and think exterminating us is wrong, ot will unbalance the environment. Or, my personal favorite and the likely reason, most dragons are really nice, and the few who assault humanity are the exception. After all, if even one dragon assaulted a village EVERY time it was hungry, it’d kil off the village without ever having to attack it.
Yeah, the Borg are victims of a hostile and infectious computer virus that constructed a top down command structure led by a single personality. This is more like a self reproducing Beowulf cluster with a wireless network connection that may have distance limitations. There is plenty of room for a symbiotic relationship if they wanted to pursue it.
No “square cube law” is the as a shape grows in size, its volume grows faster than its area. Mammals like elephants have a harder time cooling themselves than small ones like mice is the basic example but dragons a Reptile and if a a warm blooded one like a Dinosaur its not a Big deal, After all there wear bigger dinosaurs , now Flight without magic would be impossible but not Gliding also we know of several prehistoric birds that flew in violation of a dozen rules. No Ant are screwed not bc of the “square cube law” or even Exoskeleton weight (as many high school teacher claims)as a internal Skeleton could fix that (no reason u can not have both look at a Rino why not a exoskeleton that hide has all the same problems and it manages just fine as dose a armadillo) no Ants are screwed and limited in size like Arachnids and insects bc the lack of conventional Lungs and Breast bone. The would suffocate if the size of say a medium sized dog but a large cat they could manage. Ancient griffenfly was 71 centimeters. yep no way you get giant Ants without real lungs, of course on the down side it would really be easy to modify genetically….and in the entire would might there be some Scientist smart enough and dumb enough?? Well gypsy moths and killer bees kind of say yes.
Sauropods are buit a bit like dragons Bruhathkayosaurus was between 40–44 m (130–145 ft) in length and weighed 175–220 tons. yes it was a land animal and a plant eater And no it had no wings but as you see “square cube law” was a issue for them and they dealt with it no one got clue how… No skeleton was ever found complete so we can only guess at the mechanics.

Not sure who is talking in last panel (probably the guy they are there to rob), but they can’t be a dragon
But that means…
… are dragons squirrels?

That off-screen voice must be The Dark Man! I can hardly wait…

Ether: the only part of Princess P-cups’ clothing that was damaged/destroyed was her glove (she is now wearing Niels’ supurfluous left glove)
Either the sword can talk or someone (or something) else is there.

Xenau> If our ants were as big as dragons …
… the square cube law would do them in.
“Xenau> If our ants were as big as dragons …

The “square cube law” would do in flying dragons as well if not magic and fantasy.
