Well that explains why the story was so hard to follow, and understand

Lt. Worf (in the tribbles DS9 episode, when asked why the Klingons in the bar don’t have bumpy heads like he does): “We do not speak of this!”

The Story of Typhan-Knee’s departure has been retold with-in the sector so many time, sight changes crept in and to this day no one (except maybe Old Man Strum) knows what happened.

@Fairportfan. The secret is eventually revealed in “Enterprise.” Remember “The Wrath of Khan?” Well, Klingons tried to make their own version, but the genetic therapy mutated into a deadly virus. Capt. Archer had to provide human antibodies for the cure. The side-effect is that now there’s a branch of Klingons that don’t have forehead ridges, and are really just (to quote the wiki) “white guys with fu-manchus.”

Aww, outfits that not even Peonie can look slutty in. Practical, I suspect. But boring.

As for the differing stories, I suspected we were getting ‘point-of-view conflicts’ from the very start. Don’t worry, I suspect we’ll learn more later.

Without her mammalian-distractions, Peonie looks like a little girl

Niels looks sooo cute bundled up like that! 🙂

heu… a pelt on top of a full plate armor?
it looks funny…but I’m not sure it’d do any good.

Well it is kind of their concern considering they’re going off into the frozen waste because of it.

@dethro, especially when a large part of it is exposed, considering the heat conductivity of metal…

Niels actually doesn’t need the fur… but he really didn’t want to have to explain why, so he just ran with it.

Anyone else get the feeling that Neils has a loose sleeve hanging off his back?

Kinda looks more like an outfit for a giant barbarian Northern woman (you know, the ‘off-the-shoulder’ look :D)

Damn, was only supposed to strike out ‘barbarian’

Always felt making the Klingons in Enterprise have the crabby foreheads (and retro-fitting that ‘eugenics/virus thing’ into the story) simply pandering to the freaks who liked dressing up as those mutated Klingons from TNG

prediction: it was suicide, he was sick and wanted to end it early so no one would have to see him weakening

I will go with the belief that the armor has a light enchantment to keep the wearer comfortable.
