Grammar nitpick: That should be “She was one of the few WHO wanted to be here.”

Wouldn’t therefore “She was one of the few which wanted to be here” also be accurate?
English isn’t my first language, so I can’t say for sure. Also the sentence is clearer for me with “that” then with “who” or “which”.

Yeah…like how Belle wanted to be at the Beast’s castle after she’d been beaten about a few times then “rewarded” with kind words whenever she’d done something the inhabitants approved of.
Everyone’s true place is in Stockholm after all.
In-comic though, even if that were true and she did feel that Barbarian-land was truly home without being Stockholmed into it, that was still a dumb thing to say to the eight foot tall man-mountain who is angry about losing a family member. Rationality has nothing to do with that. Which leads me back to a point I made some comics ago, RUN!!
I don’t think running would help… It’d just p!!s off the man-mountain more and you’d be out of breath when he catches up to you, so you’d have a harder time talking him down then. That and there probably isn’t anyplace they could run to where they would be able to survive on their own…(Winter on its way, country full of wild animals, no weapons, just two old guys, no tools to chop more firewood, utter lack of shelter and it’s probably getting dark now…)
Next line prediction “Yeah, she was running the place and was piratically responsible for the uniting of the tribes.”
My reaction was the same as Neil’s, by the way.
I thought of Doctor Who when Neils said “WHAT?”
Neils doesn’t seem to me to be the type of person to fly of the handle: he might (more likely will) blw his top, but he will semi-calm down (but retain the menacing tone/voice) and ask them to explain
Depending on how long she had been there, and how well Behrs treated her (after the initial weeks) and if she felt her entire family was dead (what was Neils doing at that time? was he already working for Kingie or was he presumed by the Barbies to have been killed inthe same raid?) she may very well have figured there wasn’t anywhere else to go so she made the best of it and assimilated into the clan
Panel 2 makes it look like the old farts only come up to his hips/waist
Everyone seems to be assuming that she was happy on the farm.

@Jonathan — I stand by “who.” Within the clause “who/whom wanted to be here” the word acts as the subject, so should be in the nominative case — “who”
