Take off the steel! It has really poor insulating qualities, and is really efficient at transferring your body heat to the environment.

    Just sayin’.

You would think that a dragon would be more resistant to cold.

@Sluggy. I don’t think he can, it appears integrated to the fabric that is his clothes. Plus it’s traditional to make steel plates with leather padding underneath. Without the padding, can you say “chafing.” I find it surprising that DENVER is the one shivering. I would have thought Peonie would be the one suffering, she IS showing the most skin after all.

Told you that Denver, city boy that he is, wasn’t dressed properly for this journey.

I wonder who is narrating, can’t be the speechifying guy surely, maybe there is a Yeti narrator or something.

Next scene: internal monologue suddenly disrupted.

Probably by Tiffany. Weird old man/narrator never gets treated kindly.

If this is the only route, you can see why snow will close the pass for the winter.

    Except he’s not a dragon… yet.

what kills me is that every one is so concerned about the armor that he is wearing, and the fact that he is the one to have problems. But, what every one doesn’t seem to take note of is tiff’s compassion and concern for him which to me seems more so than to the others. Personally that has more interest to me. Also if he is a dragon is possibly cold blooded so of course the cold is getting to him worse. Though I think that the way Tiff is acting is showing that the spell is affecting more than her looks but also the way she feels and thinks.

Dragons are reptillian…that means they’re cold blooded. Now while he’s in human form, Denver is temporarily warm blooded, but the cold would tend to have MORE effect on him, not LESS.

I just find it odd that Tiff did not make sure that they were better supplied when they left the town as she knew that they would be going into.

If dragons are related to dinosaurs, then it’s probable that they are warm blooded. In any case, there’s good evidence that dinosaurs were warm blooded.

It has been previously stated that dragons don’t live that far north.. In fact it was too far north when they saw his sister.

These parts regular dragons don’t exist, there are instead something more in common with icewraiths of skyrim but much bigger.

Why is the unicorn looking so grumpy in the first panel? I understood that sour expression was only when impure Peonie was trying to ride him or when he was facing down enemies…uh oh.
