Looks like all barbarians don’t hate books Tiffany, there’s a book in his hands. I just wonder what the title is, “Barbarians Gone Wild” or “Getting in Touch With My Inter Bear.”
Looking at the second panel my first thought was: “That’s a huge loaf.” Side profile really puts it in proper perspective. Also, now that the baker is dead/unconcious, they should get more lootz if the man-bear lets them go.

I doubt he’s a barbarian. I’d say more likely a druid. Although, there are any number of proffessions. However, I doubt it would be a barbarian. I barbarian wouldn’t have been polite. All he would have said was “RAAR!” and chopped of their heads. Tiffany definatly reinforces this belief.
