But then, ‘Brother Thomas(Sister Teresa?)’ is just exemplifying that little part in all of us that is closed-minded and blinkered about our perspectives and (pre-)conceptions of others.
I wonder how Brother Thomas was allowed to live being that blond while male and bald. I can’t believe that this it all from the change.
TYphan-Knee is blond but appears smart given the limitations of his (Her) knowledge. TYphan-Knee is also very respectful if not a bit of a brute.
The princess, though manipulative, does have a good head on her shoulders and is also blond.
Thomas… shows us the dumb blond trope does apply in the comic.
Princess Peonie is a light brunette; or maybe, possibly is an ash blonde. PP is not a “regular” blonde.

4….She gets back from said Mission and is met with derision and insulted constantly not only about her gender(which is a major sore point) her Race, and her Intelligence.

Hi, I just read all the way from the beginning to this point in one literal sitting and I have to applaud you for resisting to the best of your ability a lot of genderbendin tropes. And I think it’s pretty obvious how much I despise Thomas- I mean seriosuly props to you as a writer for making me hate a fictional male to female transvestite [slow clap].
This is so true of how most cultures that consider themselves “civilized” have treated other “primitive” cultures. Throughout history most cultures have seen different cultures as less civilized even when the other culture is actually more “advanced”.
