An Incredible Sadness
I am holding back tears as I type this. It is likely that, as you read this, you are already aware that Stan Lee has passed.
I never had the chance to meet Stan Lee (although I was six feet away from him once and could hear him enthusiastically greet a fan on the other side of a curtain), but I can safely say there are few who made so great an impact on my life. I have not processed his passing yet, but only want to say that my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
And the rest of us.
I hope he can continue to see all the good and strength his creations have given to the world. I do believe it is a better place thanks to him.
In the end, leaving the world a better place than it was when we entered it is one of the greatest achievements.
My love to all of you feeling this loss,
Scott
Many hugs, you’re not the only one crying these days. 🙂 I think they’ll probably have to be handing out boxes of tissues at movie theaters when the next couple of Marvel movies come out, too. He was a great man, and while I never got anywhere near meeting him, he was a great influence on my life, and on most of my friends’ lives.
Thank you, and indeed!
A great man who gave a lot and will be sorely missed. Excelsior!
