And they are actually an endangered species? That would explain why the Dragon Denver attacked back when did not retaliate.

Lost… just like the Entwives…
Did a page get skipped? This page doesn’t really seem to follow from the last one. His “Lose any more Dragons?” question seem to come out of nowhere.
There does seem to be a gap.
Didn’t the dragon Denver confronted have something that identified her as maybe Denver’s sister? Or am I misremembering?
I am not at home at the moment, so I can’t check, but it does seem a page got skipped. I’ll look into it once I’m home.
@chemiclord – I’ve already rechecked, the pages are consecutive. I think it is just an issue of us missing something small from the big picture. One of us could just add a line of connecting dialogue to better transition from last page to this page when we can.
Now the few questions to find out the real meaning for ‘Lost’
I have discovered the problem. There is a fairly important word bubble missing from the previous page (it looks like I did not save it after completion, and so it reverted to a previous save after I closed the window).
Easily enough fixed.

The Dragon was not his sister. They, or at least Tiffany, met his sister later in the Forest, just beginning her transformation.
This page does resolve all the questions I had about the intelligence, or lack thereof, among the dragons. It also explains that dragons are not completely like cuckoos. They use humans as foster parents only under certain circumstances. I have to guess there are too few of them to properly foster those “tadpoles” themselves. Now does Lost = insanity, intelligence, contact with the group mind or all of the above? Tune in next time to find out (hopefully).
Gah, should have phrased that as “loss of sanity, intelligence or contact with. . ..”

I’m starting to think that either all dragon hatchlings need to be fostered for the protection of their sanity from the collective mind, or just those who are lost. Since I doubt the dragons left two eggs in the remains of the human home, I’m thinking they hatched, the parents were “lost” and another dragon (possibly Zanith) transformed them and put them into foster care.
Lost might not mean insane.That might be just anther way to get lost. She said denvers Parents are alive. And if insane she would kill them, could Lost mean left the Group mind? Or Might be like Kidknaped Like Lost Lost..And babies are hidden to protect them from this Umber Predator Wow what can be a threat to dragons? Anther Bigger dragon?
Plus the way she said Fostered, I wonder if the Dragons Did kill the Foster Parents? Could it been the Agents of this other and they Survived the fire bc there immuned to the flames? Could the foster Parents Known?could that be how they got rich? Here Raise these 2 and we will give you a pile of gold each Month!
