OK, yeah, they’re kissing, but the climate pretty much prevents them from going much further. Unless they want to make out in the same tent with Neils or Peonie.
In fact, the climate may even make kissing dangerous. Maybe they should just rub noses?
Peonie can’t shrug her shoulders without her clothing flying off, but the first time we see Tiff actually kiss, she’s in a parka. Go figure.
I don’t think His Kingshiplyness will give two rat farts about what Tiff does in her spare time, so long as she’s discreet about it and provides him an heir. Remember, he’s not exactly piling up Fidelity Awards himself. And he’s a practical guy…he didn’t exactly romance her, he bribed her into breeding with him and representing the kingdom as a military leader and figurehead with rooms full of shinies.
@Quartz. I do believe the “good” king Urtica has freed Tiff from that particular “reward.” Instead, he has made her a knight, and protector of the princess because Tiff is one of the few people Peonie actually listens to after her mother’s “disappearance.” He later tells either Neils or Bohrs, “give up what you don’t want so you can keep what you do.”
For this scene though, I can’t help but sing “falalala! Don’t be shy, come on, you want to kiss da girl!”
What?!!! So is Tiff gay, bi, or just been in that body too long? Um does it matter? So if you are a straight male, but get turned into a female and have straight sex does that make you homosexual? Hrrr if Tiff had sex with Peony would she be straight/lesbian? LOL
As for the King? I think they made it clear Dragons are scarier.. But I do not think the king will be upset . No he will be to busy coming up with a way to use this.
Evidently the mental parts of the curse in action a bit here with Typh succumbing to the emotions of Denver’s tragic fate.
Some days you’re a big tough Barbarian who keeps his feelings to himself and would laugh at a bloke who shared them, telling him to suck it up and harden up… And some days you’re Tiffany.
Clearly the changes inside Tiff have caught up with the outside changes.
Tiff is not cursed even if she calls it a curse she was transformed into a woman. She has been fighting it ever since. I think a few pages back she realized that is what she is now. Not a man but a woman and she stopped fighting her self.
The point was made a long time ago that the curse (or transformation if you prefer) was changing Tiff’s attitudes to match her idea of what a woman should be. Obviously that would include her “preferences.”
Pretty much what DocSavage said.
The curse is supposed to make her what she ends up deciding she should be. The shaman even backed it up, saying that he wanted Tiff ‘whole’, in whatever way that may be. I sometimes get the feeling that the journey doesn’t actually have any magical artifact, but is merely a journey of self-discovery, and coming to terms with herself.
Actually, even if Tiff is floating in second law of gender bending bliss, she is still cursed. When man use magic on her, they are turned into woman. So the quest to be de-cursed is still useful if she wants to have access to the court magicians for simple healing purposes and whatnot, it would be helpful if she wasn’t turning them into women each time.
As for dragon children, since they are born as humans (like Denv and his sister), I would assume dragons do not lay eggs. In fact, dragons in dragon form might be infertile and Denver might feel the racial imperative (aka urge) to procreate now while he’s still can.
Well, we don’t know for sure that ANY use of magic by a man on Tiff would turn said man into a woman. We know that attempting to transform her back to a man does cause the Faden’s magic to rebound on the caster, but I don’t think any other spell-casting has been used on Tiffany. The closest thing was using unicorn magic-resistance to defeat Faden’s mind control, but that had nothing to do with negating the gender change.
The two of them kissing is massively foreshadowed and has taken literally years to happen. For folks who seem hung up on Tiff’s sexuality, it’s been pretty plain from the early days of the comic that, as a girl, she’s into guys. The topic is kinda beaten to death by now, no?
Don’t forget that the King agreed that marriage would not be part of the deal.[1] Therefore, Tiffany is free to see who she wants just as long as she keeps the Princess safe.

Awwwwwwwwww 😉
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww …. FINALLY !!
So in about 5 sec, Peonie gets out of her tent ?
They’re just rubbing their faces together for warmth.
with that background, i think not lol
Wait, what’s gonna happen when they find that dispelling sword thing now?
inb4 Tiff can’t change back cuz she gets preggers. 😛
10 bucks says Tiffany rants and raves about this at some point in the next twenty strips.
Awww!
The problem is going to be Nils, not Peonie. Remember that she’s going to be marrying His Nibs? ‘A royal hand in marriage…’, remember?
OTOH this could lead to that great line, “Let’s shag before you become a dragon and I a man.” 🙂
Way to go for the total cliche, this totally sickens me

Practical dude, that King. I approve.
Oops, sorry. NOT the first time they kiss, but the first time she knows it’s coming.
If I stand corrected, but I’m correcting myself, does that mean I’m beside myself? O_o
This is very dangerous!
Tiff, if you get pregnant with dragon child then turn back into boy, you will be really messed up!
is she……is he…….are they??????????????
*Rolls eyes* Honestly never cared about their secret romance. Forbidden romance yes. Abandon all goals and most principles. Yes.
Well the way this is playing out, I think the sword may be able to save Denver, so Tiff is going to have to decide what’s most important to him / her.
@Daeleus ohhh, nice one, I didn’t think of that…
@Quartz. And what about the unicorn?
I’m just waiting for Denver to be tossed again.
Tiff is a Dragon rider???
As for the King? I think they made it clear Dragons are scarier.. But I do not think the king will be upset . No he will be to busy coming up with a way to use this.
So, would she lay eggs or deliver live young?

Well it is about damn time. Should be interesting to see what happens next. (Grins evilly)

Wow. It’s been hinted at for a long time, but I didn’t think it would actually happen.

Tiffany might want to bear in mind that it’s a long walk back home if your steed refuses to have anything to do with you…
Also, why isn’t Denver turning into a woman too?
Denver is not turning into a woman because he’s a dragon – dragon magic resistance is a bitch to overcome!
