Did she just take that mitt off or was it discarded beforehand and she’s just happens to be next it again? I ask because they’re current location seems to be very cold and such exposure could be fatal. I’m curious as to what this means for the princess as I hope this means that she might get some character growth in some manner or another. Maybe this is a symbolic foreshadowing of her maturing?
I’m just hoping she got that glove off before any of that blood or saliva got on her. Tiffany did mention something about bodily fluids from that beast being poisonous or conveying disease.
@Ragingagnostic. It’s poison bite, pestilence claws, and acid blood. The mitten was exposed to the acid blood. Fortunately, Peonie was able to remove the glove/mitten before the acid reached her skin.
@ qwerwert – Niels may have beat it eventually, but it was throwing him around quite handily there. Denver didn’t even seem to work up a sweat taking it out. As Niels says, impressive.
@ Keldaria – Peonie not Tiff, though I admit to being confused too. I thought Tiff was the one that had to ditch the glove due to acid blood. The crown is a giveaway though.
My bad – it’s Peonie, not Tiff. And, for the record, if Peonie was the sort to carry around backup clothing for whenever her clothes got damaged, there’d be a lot less cheesecake in this comic. Nobody wants that!
Denver seems to have killed it with sheer concussive damage – no blood spilt, just straight bruising and internal trauma. The blood that got on Peonie was from one of Tiff’s sword cuts, which seems to have healed.
Because it’s a magic circlet? The sunburst part should be that clear. It radiates warmth and light. You really think King Assasin-guy wants his offspring to freeze to death?

… aaand, Tiff lost clothing. All is right with Exiern.
why would it be odd denver beat it to death? Neils could beat it to death and he’s probably human.
Looks like Peony is already starting to lose her clothes. :p
“You also became more intelligent for a moment. That, too, was impressive.”
WHAT? she’s not completely naked yet? Blasphemy!
She’s a doppelganger Tiff.. watch out!
Neils … what an understatement.
But I have to agree. Impressive.
Given their history of clothing destruction I have to assume that Tiff has at least one extra glove.
Also, @keldaria, heh, I have to admit that my first thought on seeing the last panel was “wow she only lost a glove this time”.

So how come Denver’s clothing is unaffected? No blood whatsoever spurted on him?
@Randon Gay Fan:- It ain’t got time to bleed …

Not to mention, Peonie has the cleavage-arrow top, and the slightly chubby-baby face
Ether: it does not appear to be snowing/windy, and as long as she doesn’t touch anything metal with her bare succulent flesh she should be okay
Niels didn’t even consider using straight brute strength on it

If nobody has any backup gloves, maybe they can make one out of mingalow hide? Butchered and cured properly, it could even have magical properties…
How come Peonie doesn’t have frostbite under her circlet and the sunburst on her forehead?
