What happened to the unicorn’s horn?
Well that is one way to tell your family you gone and got girlied. Not the most elegant way.
I’m waiting for the next page when Melan-Knee opens his arms wide for a hug and shouts, “Hey, bro!”.
I’m hoping the horn is not visible purely because Typhan-knee is looking down on Melan-knee from very high up in the saddle, and the unicorn’s head is bending very far down. Otherwise, a missing horn is a mortally dangerous condition for a unicorn.
Tiff and “elegant” don`t mix. Ever.
Those dwarves were fast. And so was Melan-Knee. Why did he go out to meet his brother alone though? Isn’t MK some kind of Chieftain? Shouldn’t he have an escort of other hunters? I’m finding it hard to believe a barbarian tribe isn’t more security conscious.
And where’s the unicorn’s horn?
I’ll have a fiver on him mistaking Neils for Typhan-Knee, seeing as he’s big and blond (although this will necessitate an unlikely helmet removal) and all, y’know for comedy purposes.

@Jmucchielo: In Barbarian/Primitive cultures generally the Chief is the strongest, fittest warrior (Might makes Right). To need a “security” escort would be a sign of weakness.

Makes sense – remember the talk earlier about Neils’ family being kidnapped? It’s highly likely that Melan and Typhan had different mothers. And, that one of them was, to use Game of Thrones parlance, a ‘salt wife’. As in sexual a-salt wife.
Few thoughts.
– I am still worried about where this storyline will go. I approve of mellankee’s badassness. Still hoping he does not get TGed. Exiern could really use an awesome male character. Even a love interest for Peonie.
– Nice job on the art on this one. Exiern is a great looking webcomic, but this particular page really looks like a lot of time was put into it.
– On the subject of Neils, the fact that we didn’t get to see his face makes me wonder if he is actually a much older man. Like when he told the story about his sister, that may have happened a very long time ago. She could be Tiff’s mother.
