Tadpole can deal with brainy-book issues – and, if the need arises, pass any burte-strength tests with ease. Peonie…. well, Peonie’s job has always been to get the amazingly competent people her father surrounds her with… into trouble. She’s like, a danger magnet!
Why would Urtica wait until he found the note? He probably detailed Neils as soon as Tiff said she was planning to go alone, in the sure and certain knowledge Princess Perky would invite herself along.
Posted this on the last page in a moment of stupidity. In Chibiern, ‘gate’ should be ‘gait’. The first is an opening in something, such as a fence, while the second is used to describe the way a person moves.

I agree with deanatay. The wording could so easily have been “escort you home” or “escort you back to the castle”. That it was left “escort you” is an almost rock solid guarantee that Neils is on the trip North.
