And really, Denver should be more understanding. The fact that she used to be a man is understandably something she’d want to keep on a need to know basis and it was Peoni who told her that it would be best to keep it to herself.
It really wasn’t Teresa’s place to out Tiff like that either, she would have told Denver when she was ready. After all, she’s still having indentity and gender issues. It was a dick move by Teresa.
Um no the look on their faces screams Peonie, but she’s in disguise of course.

How can Peonie disguise herself? She’s very distinctive in two ways.
If Tiff is smart, she’ll say, “Denver and I are not moving from this spot till you turn around and go home.”
I’m willing to wager Peonie (no one else can sound quite that petulant in a non-verbal medium) and possibly captain Phi as well. On basis that Chemiclord said this arc was about sorting out personal relationships and the way we were reintroduced to Phi earlier seems to indicate he’s going to be a bit more involved in the strip.
Tiff’s hair seemed to get longer again when she was bickering with Denver in that “they’re totally not a couple, honest guv” kind of way.
“On the road again, I can’t wait to be on the road again…”
And our three heroes are off to adventure in the wilderness. What are the odds that everyone gets drunk tonight at the tavern and Denver gets *really* lucky? 🙂

I don’t get why Tiffany would leave her behind in the first place. Isn’t she Peonie’s Knight Errant, or whatever? She’s contractually obligated to guard her (apart from the occasional boob punch.)

aaaand somehow I don’t think Teresa would leave herself vulnerable to being outed the same way she did to Tiffany, she’s smarter than that. I think she probably told Denver that she used to be a man too, but one interested in men, so now her being a woman makes it more comfortable for herself, while as for Tiffany, she used to be a man and liked women, so it’s a bit more complicated for her.

The guards are obviously left handed, their swords are on the right and you have to draw a sword across the body.
@aRJay, that entirely depends on the length of the sword, but yeah those ones look to long to draw straight, even tho we can’t see their ends.
That the guard are saluting with their right arm, fist over heart, seems pretty natural a salute to me. A good fighter can start with their weapon in either hand.

Actually, Teresa has been open about the fact that she used to be a man and doesn’t really hide it. And it wasn’t just liking men, Teresa had felt she was born in the wrong gender, which is why she’s so happy now.
