Just as she said once before – it’s always the clothing that gets torn. Nobody ever seems to even put a scratch on her, but the clothes are always a write-off…
Okay, where did the hedge maze come from? There isn’t room in that citadel for more than a modest garden, which we’ve already seen. And we can see from the Landscape shots that the Citadel is all out on its own (as improbable as that sounded). Does the king have access to top secret Timelord TARDIS technology….Is Exiern a Doctor Who Prequel? Quick to Tvtropes with the theory!
I hate this ninja guy though for destroying that nightgown. I realise I’m swimming against the flow on this one, but I always think Tiff looks hotter when partially clothed (not full, silly armour clothing, and not ripped to bits clothing, but mostly clothed in standard or designed to be tantalising clothing).
I’ll agree on a real nightie, that the slogan “A Knight’s Tail” should be lower down, but for artwork purposes in the comic it probably wouldn’t work. Be too small for us to read. Unless we got a close up on Tiff’s arse. …erm… It should be lower down, yes, indeed, and Tiff can bend over for us all to read it better.
Okay, let’s NOT put Exiern in the same boat as that should-have-ended-long-ago Doctor Who.
Tiff’s behind is quite large enough for us to see “A Knight’s Tail” stretched across it.
And, anyone who exposes Tiff’s cleavage is okay by me.
And, on the size of the grounds surrounding, in and even underneath the castle, take a look at the city of Metropolis. That place keeps growing to the point where at least half the population of the United States could fit inside it and there’d still be room. Comics can make anyplace whatever size they want.
@ CrypticMirror
In the words of Wilson Bob Tucker, “Never let the facts stand in the way of a good story.” A fight in a hedge maze is coming up, don’t worry about how it got there. 🙂
Sorry, missed something about bow ties. And the reasons I don’t care much for Doctor Who is: 1) I can watch an entire episode, listen to every explanation they give, and still not understand much because the show is confusing 2) It’s been going non-stop for decades, while other (in my opinion) more deserving shows have gotten cancelled and taken off the air as if they never existed.
I like Christopher Eccleston, though. He played a Doctor years ago.
@Hikaro The current version of the Doctor wears a bow-tie, whenever someone says it is dumb he replies “bow-ties are cool”. And indeed they are since the volume of bow-tie sales have skyrocketed over the last couple of years. Because Dr Who is cool, and if it says bow-ties are cool, then they too are in fact cool.
It hasn’t being going on non-stop for decades, there was a fairly length “stop” between ’88 and ’96, and another between ’97 and ’05 (and also an 18months “stop” in the mid 80s too). Also, don’t worry too much about the explanations, they aren’t the point. Dr Who is a massively deserving, and incredibly endearing show. Don’t blame it for Firefly failing (blame Firefly’s failings for that).
I was unaware of the hiatuses, mainly because I live in the US, and we HAVE been showing it non-stop for decades. I also don’t blame it for Firefly being cancelled, because I’ve never seen any of Firefly (and would like to), and as far as I know, Doctor Who was never broadcast on FOX, and Firefly never on BBCA.
@ Bluebolt & Eric
I noticed, but I want to see it a lot, so I figured mentioning it would jinx the possibility of it ever happening again.
Tiff is developing an annoying habit of charging unarmed into fights. It may make the story more exiting, giving her more obstacles to overcome, but I would think that an experienced barbarian, someone who has already demonstrated a weakness for “toys”, would have a number of devilish devices stashed all around the bedroom, many within quick and easy reach. The fastest victory is the safest victory.
@hikario Doctor who is one of the best shows in the universe and cryptic mirro is right the explanation doesnt matter nearly as much as the adventure especaily since were dealing with things not for our world and a hell of a lot of compleatly made up consepts and if you notice one more then one ocation the doctor is just as confused with what is going on as you are( also i like matt best but only because david was a bit to moody for my taste and i just never really enjoyed christpher)
and as for the whole wepons thing well it would be ok for her not to have a humungo sword if not for those reaaaaaly awsone-scary claws
Uh-oh she will stop chasing means…… goodbye ninja it was pretty fun to see you for a few strips. After battle trophy cat claws and a cat suit for Tiff suddenly appears out of nowhere 😛
She’s not wearing underwear and @theterik I actually surprised there isn’t an “insider” fan-service version of the first panel. I’m guessing the “shadow” lines were not drawn by the original artist. It doesn’t match the style of other shadows in the story.
This is the only version of this page which was provided to me, which I interpreted as not needing censorship. That’s still my opinion, but feel free to see what you like in the inkblot of shadows.
I think it is just this side of not needing altered, but only just, and I could well see others feeling it fell the other side of the line. I’ll be honest, believe it or not, and as massive a perv as I am, I’m not a fan of the naked stuff; preferring to see suggestive (my imagination is better than any artwork, no offence) instead (although I’m here for the stories and character stuff ahead of even that), and this had me pausing before hitting the “retweet” button. It cuts very close to the wind, and I’d have felt a lot better about some form of underwear or just the nightie being a little less rucked up.
Well, as a rule of thumb, if it appears here there isn’t anything I thought was naughty – that is what the ESCa is for when we have such material. But I’ve also seen tomorrow’s page, which is MUCH less ambiguous about what she’s wearing. So without that knowledge I can certainly see how this would be unclear.
On the topic of Firefly getting canceled it was because of what Fox did wrong not what the show did wrong. Fox wanted John Doe to premier on the same day so instead of showing the 2 hour pilot or the first half of it they showed the 2nd episode and never got around to showing the first episode.
Skipping that lost many viewers since the pilot told us who those people were and why we should care about them. The stuff advertized about the show was all about events in that episode.
Clearly I caused Mr. Standing far more trouble than I should have.
No, Tiffany is NOT in the buff. It’s an unfortunate blending of shadows, but rest assured, Tiffany’s lower regions are suitably clad… as far as nighttime attire goes.
Hikaro – Hulu.com, which is a 100% legal enterprise for everyone concerned, has Firefly as a free watch (with advertisements), though only 5 episodes at a time. You can start from the beginning, right now, and get to the third episode before having to wait a week for the next.
Be a Producer! Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
Figures that they have a hedge maze. XD
Yay for fan service?
Just as she said once before – it’s always the clothing that gets torn. Nobody ever seems to even put a scratch on her, but the clothes are always a write-off…
Of course they have a hedge maze. Its planting and maintenance is paid-for with a hedge fund. (Sorry, folks.)
Bad Grim! Bad!
I could certainly see the King managing a hedge fund…
Ok, I’m thinking there’s more than one of these “ninja” guys.
“A Knight’s Tale” should be down lower.
It appears Tiff has dual-classed as commando.

@Hikaro, I take you do not agree with the proposition that Bow-ties are cool?
Dr Who is also cool.
@ Cryptic

Bow ties are okay…but I prefer Trench Coats or Scarves.
@Hikaro
Christopher Eccleston made a great 9th Doctor…and I loved Tennent as the 10th…but I wish Chris and David had longer stints.
I’m glad the back of Tiff’s shirt said “A Knights Tail”.
Okay, first panel – IS SHE NOT WEARING PANTIES?
Seriously, those are either flesh tone underwear or she’s just wearing the t-shirt.
What do you guys n’ gals think?
@Bluebolt
I was wondering if anyone else was seeing that.
@ Cryptic
I was unaware of the hiatuses, mainly because I live in the US, and we HAVE been showing it non-stop for decades. For the record… Tiffany usually sleeps in the buff. She only threw on a nightshirt because she was leaving her room to check on Peonie.
@ chemiclord
I still love that nightie, and ask that it be shown a helluva lot more.
It seems Tiff isn’t phased by her clothes getting torn anymore.
@meps98
Except Barbarians are good with killing people with their bare hands as well.

1) any chance for an uncensored version? Pesky hand is in the way and I too wonder if she is wearing panties (I assume no)
2) don’t forget the first strips when Tiff word nothing other than a loincloth. seeing her fight in a nigjtie is honestly a little much!
Uh-oh she will stop chasing means…… goodbye ninja it was pretty fun to see you for a few strips. After battle trophy cat claws and a cat suit for Tiff suddenly appears out of nowhere 😛

On the
Mass Effect 3panel one controversy:I think it is just this side of not needing altered, but only just, and I could well see others feeling it fell the other side of the line. However, that is just pure personal preference.

your voting picture won’t load on both IE and chrome. they both give a broken image image
easy fix, use firefox instead.

BlueBolt – that was what I was referring to.
Don’t get too worked up, guys…it’s just camel toe.
