I’m confused here. It looks like the assassin threw a chair at her to distract her so he could jump out the window. Then she grabbed his heel and … threw him out the window? What am I missing?

i dont think so, i would think that he? had some kind of flashbang and used it to escape, see how tiff has an arm over her eyes?
He threw the chair, Tiff dodged, then he ran freaky-fast and jumped out the window. Tiff grabbed at his ankle and was about to pull him back, but he set off some kind of a flash-bang from the soles of his boots.
That’s what is looks like, anyway.
No, he pushed himself off of her (probably with the other foot, looks strange though I admitt).
On a sidenote. “These things open? I never knew” was pure gold.

He threw a chair to distract typhanee and jumo out of the window. She tried to grab him, but he slipped away. Still, she redirected his jump and he fell badly.
I dunno who sent that ninja, but they’d have been better off getting Deadpool. At least then Tiff’d get some witty dialogue.
@CrytpicMirror. Even incompetent ninja know better than to talk in the presence of the enemy, unless they absolutely have to, someone may be able to recognize the voice later.
As for that the Ninja’s doing?
1.) Throw chair as distraction.
2.) Run and jump out window.
3.) Kick at Tiff to escape hold on legs/ankle.
4.) Fall very badly, heading to ground head first.
Windows open? Well, Christ, I’ve been punching mine out for 22 years now!
Of course, the exclamation mark may be him realizing the princess is in the room below as he’s falling past the window…

Unfortunately I am unable to duplicate the issue you are having, partially because I don’t have Chrome.
Anyone else seeing the issue described?
Its a little difficult to see fully but I’m going to agree with those who think the ninja kicked Tiff with his right leg after she grabbed his left leg and we’re seeing her block from the impact.
You could argue that Tiff was forced to release him due to the backlash but I like to think Tiff anticipated this reaction and intended to let him fall.
I find myself both disappointed and sad the Grandad Mackenzie doesn’t appear to be showing up to finish his monologue this time 🙁

5 copper piece that ninjs lost his balance in 4th panel because he saw Peonie from window naked.
Either that, or he saw that there’s a spike pit directly beneath him that Tiff set up in case of just such an event.
