Oooh someone is gonna be in trouble when the King finds out about this (necks don’t belong to the church), he’s just basically done the exact opposite of the Royal command. If he survives the next few strips of course. Then again, given good old Urtica, priest dude might wish he didn’t survive the next few strips. I think he’s just volunteered to be Teresa’s assistant in performing any major spells the King wants her to carry out.
Fool just went against the king’s explicit order. SO NOT SMART! Especially when murderous golems are nearby.

Hey, give the priest a break, the king’s word (aka threat) was just delivered minutes ago in a completely different part of the castle, it clearly just hasn’t gotten to this guy yet. When it does catch up to him, I am sure he will be appropriately humiliated and contrite. He seems a decent sort, for a priest, if a bit law-abiding. Plus, he was hot as a girl.
and hopefully he will be a hot girl again. Seriously, the guy is an a!!!!!e who is taking waaaaay too much pleasure in this.
Plus, I love how the Frac is just standing there watching this train wreck unfold. They’re probably telepathically conversing, “Should be break this up?” “Nah, they’re doing more damage themselves than we could hope for… let them continue, it just makes our attack easier.”

I sense rape. The barbarian chick is barely a barbarian anymore, and the magic-weilding chick can’t use her magic; the two robe-wearers probably don’t give a damn and Denver’s practically useless. We may be seeing two hot blondes go in for abortions eventually.

Denver is actually the most badass and dangerous character in the strip. He just doesn’t know it himself and needs a threat to…oh yeah…a threat to Tiff to bring it out. Plus not quite so jerkass priest isn’t looking so happy about everything either. I guess no one likes a jobsworth.
Denver, often called Tadpole by the ones who understand, is in the Process.
That is, the process of turning into a… what was it… ah, yes, ‘a giant, flying, magical, armour plated, fire breathing, hyper intelligent killing machine’ as our barbarian put it.
There’s very little that I think he has to fear barring more of his own kind, and if he ever realises it, then… hmm, things will get rather interesting for him.

Also, we only have anecdotal evidence (and our most private, unspoken hope) that Denver is a dragon – he may just be a normal human child who was lucky enough to survive a fire.

Why do their neclaces look like crosses from a distance? Shouldn’t they have some other symbol?
@Gustaf81 they look more like Ankhs to me. I suspect it is more a case of being a somewhat generic symbol that looks a bit like a lot of things.
Actually, their symbol is sort of a mix between a ‘cross’ and an ‘ankh’ (where the two arms of the cross normally meet has been replaced by a circle)
Alex has been trying to remove TerriThomas (great actor by the way) for some time, guess after his sneeze back to female got permanantly fixed afterall (Alex was cute as a girl though :()
