What Peonie needs right now is assistance from a tall, muscular she-barbarian. Too bad that the closest thing available is a boy-brained Barbie in a purple dress.

Looks like someone was paying attention when Neils was dropping hints (was that the significance of the *second in line* comment, a desperate hint, or is there worse to come…I hope there is worse). I suspect the King strikes again. I love him so much.
Also he’s right if you are going be evil, have fun with it. That’s why marketing and PR workers are always so happy! I am.

Denver’s ignorance is sad to watch but enjoyable plus he’s a Dragon (so many transexual puns there)
It’s pretty fricking obvious I don’t like Thomas for being a creepy manipulative old man in a hot broad’s body (I can’t wait until he reaches his ideal female form and the curse breaks the way I want it to: with him old and bald.
All you need to know is that you have a FAN a fan who like this enough to make his own comic for it.
“I figure if you’re going to be evil, might as well have fun with it.” Sounds like Neil’s has been listening while on duty – those sound like the King’s sentiments.
Let’s not write these Third Lance guys off just yet – the Badass Guards have shown themselves to be vulnerable to something (mind-control magic), so they’re clearly beatable. And there do appear to be quite a few of these Lancers. One or two of them might actually survive. Plus, if Neils has been dropping hints, then the mind control is not total – he may be able to pull his punches a bit, or give the Lancers a hint as how to beat him.
All said, though, I didn’t like this comic much – the one shot of Peonie’s boobs was small and hard to make out, and there’s waay too much fabric covering her butt. Very unsatisfying.
I sense rape… And unfortunately I think that Neils will be the one to dish it out. I agree, the King might be needing a Fourth Lance sometime soon.
Also, who’s the new guy? He looks capable, does his creator have an art page or similar?
Yeah lets hope the red-cloaks aren’t like the red-shirts from star trek.

I don’t know. We’ve seen some of the average soldiers but these guys are sent by the king. Every time I’ve seen someone sent by the king, they seem to be the baddest dudes out there. The Third Lance almost sounds like something similar to Special Forces. Neils is an example of bad dude sent by king. I don’t know but if the King personally sent out the Third Lance, I imagine they’re fit to do the job they were sent to do.
So apparently a lot of us who got cameos are glasses wearers…
Hopefully Neils is able to hold back enough to lose the fight; as he’s obviously able to hold back enough to drop hints to foil his enchanter’s plans

Actually from what i’m inferring the King went and took care of the issue with Tiffany BEFORE he took care of getting his daughter rescued. Man knows his priorities.
Glasses wearers getting cameos yes, but while I wear glasses, my cameo character doesn’t… where *is* Thaylien by the way? I’m sure he shouldn’t be sitting this one out, afterall he’s Peonie’s escort. Ah well, every character gets a part, I can wait to see what his will be for now.

It makes complete sense now for Neils to have said second in line to the throne, being that comic number one states that Peonie is the heir to the Luminary Alliance. 🙂

Peonie is being dumb in the first panel (nothing new right 😉 ) Niels isn’t betraying his lord, betrayal requires a conscious decision of your own free will (you can be coerced into it by evil people who have kidnapped your kids or your SO but you still freely chose to betray). Neils is being forced to do this against his will by magic, not betrayal in the slightest.
@dragondeathlord: Third Lance being the third in a series of Lances. Like how the Army has several numbered battallions such as the Seal Team 6, the first five aren’t dead.
Why does everybody think the Tird Lance will loose?

If the king thinks the Third Lance is enough to beat Neils, I don’t know if I would ever want to meet the First and Second Lances >.<

just so everyone knows, ‘mite’ in panel 2 isn’t a typo. if anything, there should be a coma or ‘I’ between evil and mite to make the sentence more clear so that everyone stops thinking it’s a typo.
