Like a true hero; sneaking off with the prize while everyone else is watching the war between evil and not-so-evil-but-still-quite-nasty.

But the Tadpole gets the humour! That simple question ‘so just an arm then?’ how much on her wavelength is this guy? It’s brilliant.

Wait… I have a sneaking suspicion here, let’s see who shares it with me; The priest said that the curse would run its course when the bearer became their image of a woman. Now we know that in Tiffany’s case this is one of two things; a breeder and carer type, about level with cattle you can legally marry, or the Peonie type, as a strong-headed but still fairly useless girl, with massive hoobs and more good intentions than evil plots.

But! What’s Theresa’s? I’m guessing, and just jumping to conclusions here, that it’s Isabel. I’m only theorising, but she was the woman who made the most impact on him, a sneaky, conniving, but loyal and hard-working bitch. Isabel can deal with anything in the Royal Court, and will use every means at her disposal, she’s attractive, confident and totally devious.

Who else, then, thinks that our extroverted Theresa is actually on her way to becoming just like Isabelle?

    Thoughts?

It’s amazing the progress a relationship can make if you stop overdoing the dramatics.

It’s true. Tiff should not be adorable!

… But, her bluff flirtation with Denver is sweet. Wrong, but sweet! Gaah!

This underlying conflict between ‘wrong’ and ‘squee’ must be the essence of all gender-transformation stories. (If this is obvious to everyone else, forgive me, this is the first of these I’ve ever gotten into, I’m still working out my feelings on the matter.)

Thaylien: Hard to judge with Theresa, she’s still a new character, need more info on her personality to make a judgement. Tiff, OTOH, is definitely changing. Not just from the curse, either. Her interaction with strong-willed women is starting to change her perceptions of women in general. This may help counter the curse more than any priestly finger-waving.

I’m thinking Theresa’s knowledge of magic and the curse itself, gives her pretty much complete control over what she wants to end up as.

Also, “just the arm” had me laughing.
    Tiffany isn’t quite cattle yet.

    😀

The curse stops when a person settles on their image of a man/woman. It’s possible that Thomas was psychologically transgendered and fell into being female so easily and completely that he literally is Theresa now, so he would technically fall into those who are immune to the curse. It would also explain why he didn’t transform at all when the priests tried to remove the curse before. >.>

Heh, close Gray Wolf, but it’s even more simple than that; Theresa *enjoys* it. She didn’t turn back because she likes being this way. A rare person, but honestly, if your ideal woman was blonde, gorgeous, with a fantastic figure and had the power to mentally screw with everyone around you, then I’m fairly certain that, just like Thomas has, you’d start to enjoy it.

Personally, if given the option between a beautiful young woman and an aging bald priest, I know which I’d rather be.

I’d would literally kill to be transformed if it meant I could I have magical powers the very least power over stupid horny men to dumb to know that I wouldn’t touch them in anyway except to lead them on.
