Oh dear… Isabel doesn’t know Theresa, but it appears Thomas knows Isabel – possibly in the biblical sense? And he’s a priest! So many levels of wrong here…
But, the first level of wrong is how easily Theresa pulls Tiff off of Denver! And how little Tiff fights her! Just not right! Where’s our fighty Tiff? Arrest that transformation NAO! Your King commands it! And I don’t mean the guy with the crown!
@deanatay You saying that it’s wrong that Tiff is not fighting when getting pulled off. SO you’re saying you want it to be the typical shallow response of Tiff Smash? Mind you, Teresa pulled off Tiff while walking to Isabel, and then spoke with Isabel. It’s not like Tiff was pulled off and they had a damn discussion.
Uh, oh. Looks like Teresa’s ALSO becoming what THOMAS thinks is the ideal woman. As for priests being celibate, that’s a modern convention, mostly amongst predominant Christian sects. Historically, priests were only second to royalty for “knowing” women. The modern convention came about as a result of divorce, and women going after the church legally for alimony, child support, etc. since Christian priests legally didn’t have property outside the church, lawsuits based on alimony would be aimed at the church instead, so priestly celibacy was the “solution.” If Isabel is the kind of woman Thomas normally knows, it’s no wonder he’s got “issues” with the opposite sex.
I think this could have potential to be brilliantly hilarious, or incredibly awful. The fear of awfulness is that we could be looking at an attempt at back-justifying Tiffany’s actions when they first arrived in town and the insults she through around. Having made Tiff look like a real jerk and bigot (well, more than normal), there is a real temptation to any author to slip in a “well she was right all along” despite there still being no evidence originally presented to either Tiff or reader. I’d hope our twin scribes would avoid going down that path though. That sort of back-justifying a protagonists attitudes and actions to rectify a moment of incredible stupidity by them always weakens a story. It’s known as Star Trek Voyager syndrome.
Nixia: Nnnoo, but Tiff is a barbarian, while Tho-resa is a spell-caster – her grapple skill should NOT be higher than Tiff’s! I know, I know, Not D&D, but still, Tiff should be stronger than that. And, OK, maybe not a “Tiff Smash!” level of violence, but she wouldn’t put up with being man-handled like that – even by a woman. Not before. Stupid transformation!
I guess I do find the recent changes in Tiff disturbing. I suspect that is intentional. Well written, Drowemos (spelling and grammar mistakes and all)! I hope there is some satisfying resolution to all this angst.
@deanatay First, no matter what, I guess you assume that this world is steeped in realism. If you wanna look at it from a “real” point of view, then realize her being pulled off was while she was in the middle of holding Denver. Also she was pulled off quickly and before she could react Teresa was already talking to Isabel. Tiff’s a fighter, not a ninja.
Second, disturbing? You think Drow wrote these scenes to be disturbing? ummmmm right. So you feel okay with him turning into a busty woman, but the moment that she starts showing signs where she is feeling like an actual female it becomes disgusting? How silly of me to question your earlier views on Tiff Smash.
Third, If the story is good, grammer is something ppl can look past. He’ll know if he wrote it wrong and doesn’t need to be told by someone. There’s a reason why he’s the writer and you’re the reader.
@Nixia. Calm down. I think Tiffany turning into a ditsy/manipulative and easily-pushed-around little girl is depressing as compared to how he was when we first saw him completely owning wizards and stuff. As to him being *just* a fighter, well yeah, but like I said…he owned wizards and stuff. HE was pretty good. Now SHE can’t do anything, because he sees women as being useless and mindless, and that IS the point of these scenes, and that is, if not disturbing, at least depressing.
And secondly, calm down. deanatay said it was well-written. Drowemos knows that there are going to be grammar mistakes already, it’s a dyslexia thing, and while “he doesn’t need to be told by someone,” deanatay wasn’t saying “there are mistakes,” he (or she?) was saying “forget the mistakes that you already know are there, it’s still well-written.” That’s a compliment. Jeez. “grammer is something ppl can look past” – and deanatay is.
I actually find it funny as hell that Tiff is turning in to an all time gossip girl, and I do hope that Peoni holds daddy dearest on his promise of marriage once Tiff is all clueless and stuff..

As a priest… I think they shouldn’t know each other…
But hell yes it’s getting interesting! XD
Hey, Sean Connery’s back.
Wait… aren’t Priests the ones who traditionally take confession?
Does her boobs look like they have gotten bigger to any of you?
I agree this really is getting interesting, please let her continue.

Tiff’s boobs are bigger in the last panel than the first. Much bigger. Peonie bigger.

So, Teresa’s actions as a woman tell you nothing of how she was probably like as Thomas? He probably paid for whores every hour, for chrissakes!

Rage gone now? Good. Enjoy the story.
