Good thing there’s time for them to fool around. It’s not like a group of powerful magical beings are invading the castle getting ready to kill everyone. No emergency here people just keep on partying. I think Bohr’s best option is just to leave the country and live out the rest of his life as a rouge mercenary having grand adventures at the edge of civilization.
I find the motion outline of the Bishop suspicious. I suspect a return of lady Bishop may happen because of this. Also, these guards have a sixth sense for when Peonie means to do harm to her father.
Uh…what happened to that constitution thing again? Yeah that incident in the square where Tiff kept on pressing the buttons of Teresa just because Teresa was happy with her transformation and then also slandered the church in a nice clear voice declaring all priests to be paedophiles. Can’t imagine why the church would want to avoid a repeat of that /sarcasm. Tiff deserves a little karmic payback for that, even if it is just to lose a couple of inches in height and gain a few in hair.
But yeah, they need to work of Tiff’s perceptions of femininity before it goes any further. I don’t mind a slightly girlified Tiff (it is always good comedy value), but it needs to be stopped before it goes any further. A truly girl Tiff would be a downer.
Admittedly Tiffany needs to work on a few things like his view of women and his temper but damn, forcing someone to basically submit themselves to a gradual change to a gender they don’t identify as is basically what England used to do to people who got outed as gay. The fact that a Deacon of the church would be all for this is actually kind of amusing though because really, since when did someone who upholds a code of morality…you know, uphold that code of morality.
Hang on. Second in line to the throne? Who is first in line then? I was under the the impression that Peonie was the only heir (and therefore first). My whole defence of the king being a bit devious, and magnificently so, was predicated on him forcing Peonie to grow the hell up and accept the heir has responsibilities, and one of those is ensure she has a safe replacement if she wants to go and have adventures all over the place.
You know if you think about it for a moment and just kinda stare at the guy getting punched in the second panel…he kind of looks like Elvis. Maybe it’s just the shape of his mouth. I dunno.
Cryptic: I get the impression that it’s a patrilineal monarchy – only men can succeed, unless there are no male heirs. ‘Sides, Peonie doesn’t really seem interested in ruling. That’s why the king is so interested in *ahem* connecting with our sexxy barbarian – he wants a male heir, and Peonie refuses to marry and give him one. Maybe that’s why the guard said ‘second’ – Freudian slip, thinking of the desired male heir as ‘first in line’? It would also explain why Drowemos won’t change it… 🙂
BTW, the King is a master at manipulating his own daughter. Peonie will soon be looking for a man to marry!
Hold up… I know I’m not really one to call people up on their spelling, but I have to point his out, because it’s hilarious.
Zero, second comment in, meant to say that Bohrs/Neils’ best option was to live out his days as a ‘rogue’ mercenary. What was actually said; a ‘rouge’ mercenary… Rouge mercenaries, for those of us not familiar with the term, were of course ‘ladies of negotiable affection’, or hookers to the layman.
Swapping armour for drag? Not something I see the guy doing so easily XD
Also, great way to interrupt, more characters should do that to get their superior’s attention.
well technically he could be considering the king 1st in line to the throne… would be a twisted way of counting things, but given is a consitution of sorts the “king” title may be in some ways a formality while there is on offical king per say. never mind he clearly has complete control of things.
@Thaylien Oops. My bad. I didn’t even notice I transposed those two letters. Then again we don’t exactly know what he looks like under all that armor or what he’s wearing.
@Thaylien “Captain Commando” has already established that at least SOME soldiers wear basically nothing under their armor. Who knows what Bohr and Neils have going on under there… >.>
Be a Producer! Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
It’s “throne”, not “thrown”. Otherwise, hilarious.

I’m having a day also.

Hey, wasn’t there a different comic here an hour or so ago?

@CrypicMirror… OOPS “second” was a mistake… But I am not going to change it.
What the name for a Freudian slip made by the author?
Oh, I was thinking you were setting us up for another sneaky twist. sorry.
I believe the rem for a mistake by an author is a “Wesley Crusher”.
Why i keep to see this knight married to Exiern ?
Exiern isn’t a person, it’s a comic…our hero’s name is Tiffany.
why is the comic called Exiern anyway? Being a n00b I may have missed the original explanation. It is probably quite simple.
Exiern is the World / Continent the story takes place on
You know if you think about it for a moment and just kinda stare at the guy getting punched in the second panel…he kind of looks like Elvis. Maybe it’s just the shape of his mouth. I dunno.
Oh sorry. I keep to think at her as “Tiffany Exiern”. Looked like a name at first.

I like the kings sense of “restraint”, he doesn’t seem awfully sorry about that guy getting punched in the face. 🙂

@Sheela
He knows it is a sign of respect.
Ah yes, a greeting amongst barbarians ?
Like Tiffany did to him ?
I really do love this guard! he is the epitome of utter awesomeness xD
this is what a think:
First in line to the Throne: The King
Second in line to the Throne: The Princess

Oh, I just LOVE Niels. And Bohr. I’ve said this a million times over, but they are just made of pure concentrated win.
