Hmm I’m sensing a little anger here from Princess Peonie. Hmmm could it be that she has Daddy issues ?No that can’t be it she loves her Daddy and he’s not a pompus jerk at all so it must be something else that I can’t quite put my finger on. Hmm I wonder what it could possibly be? Well I can’t figure it out maybe next page it will be more obvious. lol Aww I ‘m just goofin’ great page and it’s great to finally to see the king. I’m hoping that he insists that Tiffany and Peonie get married only because he promised and it’s protocol to carry it through on that promise.
The king is such a windbag — I can’t wait till he finds out that the barbarian rescuer of his daughter — and thus the person that the king has publicly pledged to marry to his daughter — is now a big-breasted blonde who is trouncing the king’s soldiers.
Of course, the king’s “solution” might be to have Tadwick marry Peonie.
Is there going to be a twist (coming up later) about this king …
or is he really full of himself?

Really enjoying the strip so far, the chars are fun and well drawn! But could I please help you edit and proof your dialogue? It’s not a complaint, only an offer for a strip I have read since the beginning.
Now taking bets that Peonie will:
#1: Run off at the first semi-reasonable reason to do so,
#2: Fabricate a semi-reasonable reason to run off and do so,
#3: Just get hell out of Dodge as soon as she can, or
#4: Tiffany will beat up the king for some reason.
I’m rooting for #4, myself, as long as no innocents are harmed in the process. 😉
Is Peonie’s mother dead? If so, the King could marry his daughter’s rescuer! Getting a king is even better than getting a princess, so there’s no way she could object! Right?
It’s just good writing. I imagine that’s how King *should* act, always making sure appearances are formal in front of the people.
The typos are killing me, man. Sorry. Other than that, this is a pretty good comic.

This king guy is pretty hard core. His daugter’s entourage has devolved into a naked street brawl not ten feet away and hes STILL standing on ceremony.
@Jarwy: It’s great writing for a guy who cares more about his appearance than his daughter.
It’s *just* a bit more complicated than that …
Did she just call him a humble servant three times deliberately… or did the same typo seriously get made three times in a row?
