I’m confused — they had more than a 2 hour head start on the knight (2.6 hours in the weapons’ shop alone) but Tiffany says that he was controlled within 2 hours. Whilst under Faden’s control, I would expect that he would not rest, eat or anything so how does several hours of time in the city lead to the conclusion that it took 2 hours for him to be overcome?
Math, and likely the understanding of just what an hour is, probably isn’t common knowledge to Tiffany.
Actually, its worth noting that I’m pretty sure this is some of the first, quality colour pages that Exiern ever got. There was additional story just before this page where they went to another store to get that Euphrasia stuff they mention a half dozen or so pages after this one.
But what I’m saying is that joke about shopping for over 2 hours may not have existed or it could have been less time in the original pages, while this page IS an original, so its possibly out of sync with the changes that happened… whatever happened to those original pages? There was a whole side story that ended up being a dream and all sorts of stuff.
