@ Frith Ra you know A lot People do not know this but he use of a convex lens to form a magnified image is discussed in Alhazen’s Book of Optics (1021). Its translation into Latin from Arabic in the 12th century was instrumental to the invention of eyeglasses in 13th century Italy.[1]
Englishman Robert Grosseteste’s treatise De iride (“On the Rainbow”), written between 1220 and 1235, mentions using optics to “read the smallest letters at incredible distances”. A few years later in 1262, Roger Bacon is also known to have written on the magnifying properties of lenses.[3]
But Even Stranger it was discovered that the Romans had what looked very much like Modern glasses themselves. And probably got it from the Greeks!
Now Add to the fact the Authority Seemed to use modern science and Scifi teck a pair glasses is not that big a deal.
Denver’s been wearing glasses since his introduction, and now people comment on glasses seeming anachronistic?
That said, I do think her glasses look out of place. It’s not the fact that they exist; it’s their shape. It looks like they’re designed with some concern for aesthetics (and with a modern design sensibility) where Denver’s are not.

Looks Promising Charles81! Still want to see more of the Girl Satyr! She Really Gets My goat!
Her glasses seem anachronistic to he rest of her surroundings, and I must ask if she is wearing nylon stockings.
Ooo is this the return to a sexier, more skin Exiern? =D
Have we seen her before? Maybe as a ‘he’?
Frith Ra: no, her legs seem to match the rest of her visible skin, maybe a shade lighter if she has mostly been long skirts/dresses

It is said that the Roman emperor Nero liked to watch gladiator fights with emeralds.
@Jonathan Wint: I knew of Alhazen. Also considered by many to be the grandfather of the modern scientific method.

The problem is not with her glasses per se, but with the shape of the lenses and the frame.
So when are the royal couple expected to finish their copulations?
I think I’ll save time and start disliking her now.
I wonder if they are Temporally Indigenous Tech, a gift from “The Travellers” or a copy of Traveller Ology?
I think she might be the leader of the unfortunate group who tried to cure Tiffany:

The glasses are fine. The comic has mentioned Leroy Jenkins and referenced Portal, and had modern tee shirts.
kvp: no, it’s not Brother Chin, unless shi has been spending time in the sunbed
Okay, what the heck is a galic? I know it’s a unit of length, since it appears as such here and in the ‘GPS’ speed limit sign back in Neese.
This… this I like.
That lady. Those glasses. Those boobs. All perfectly awesome.
