Howdy, New Readers! Thanks for reading Exiern!

Exiern contains mature themes and is best for readers 18+.
Little brother looks happy not to have to fight Tiff. He must be still scared of Tiff regardless of his earlier posturing. Tiff must have been a S.O.B. when he was younger.
Considering were Tiff just came back from Wyll-line has to have a lot of respect(fear) of his new sister’s abilities.
What is the old fart up to in panel 4? Won’t sully the good name of Sturm Brightblade by calling the old fart by his name
Thought the ‘flash’ thingie was from Tiff stabbing the sword into the floor, but then realised the old fart noticed the fighting was going to happen, but what is he un/rolling?
My guess is that the Shaman is rolling up a new assassin contract that he would write out against the winner so he could become chief, or name a worthy “successor” to fill the role while he played puppet master in the shadows.
Assassination contracts that are put into writing and _signed_? Maybe they include lawyers and witnesses, too? “Your honor, this lawsuit is for breach of contract.” This is a weirder world than mere dragons and wizards.
It’s not so much “signed” as much as a name was provided for the Theatre to pursue if (for example), the assassin went beyond his legal means (like pursing a target onto the king’s land), or if the payment wasn’t made properly or on time.
The Theatre, while secretive, has to be very meticulous. Stepping on the wrong toes at the wrong time (and not being able to prove that they weren’t completely innocent of wrong doing), could be a very bad thing.
King Urtica may be willing to give them a little slack on the leash (for reasons beyond his dalliance with the Master of Ceremonies), but he still demands they keep track of exactly what they are doing at all times.
Bilocation> In the first panel, her breasts are almost as big as the princess’s if not bigger
They are about twice as big as in the previous strip. Apparently the curse gives Tiff the ability to not only grow muscles on muscles, but also to inflate her breasts on demand.
Either that or we have the most inconsistent artist in the history of comics.
@Lurker; I believe that the look in Frame 1 was Scott’s attempt to “censor” the image. The original, un-censored version doesn’t have nearly as large of a chest.
Tiffany has the personal attention of the Waking Dreamer. (This is not usually a good thing to have) Small changes and inconsistencies are to be expected.
Daedalus: It was little Willie who insisted on the bewb-baring, Tiff went alone with it to get everyone else but the 3 of them (plus nosey matron) alone so they can slice up the Old Fart without interference
Be a Producer!Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
So, uh, what happened to what looked like an interesting flashback last Thursday?
Come back, flashback, come baaacck…
But… damn. I thought it was the brother because it seemed like it wasn’t the brother.
That interesting flashback has a resolution. But from Tiffany’s POV, it ended there.
Ok, Wyll-line’s face in that second panel is the saddest face. 🙁
I guess somebodies gotta do it…
Will-Line Will-Line Bo Bill-Line Bonana Fanana Fo Fill-Line Fee Fi Mo Mill-Line. Will-Line.
man, that mood whiplash hurt, heh.

Where’d Tiffany’s new shirt come from?
@Cerulean Lion
I’m guessing it’s the one she was wearing under her armor

in a world with a formal assassin’s guild, an internal written contract honor bound to stay within that guild is not that hard to believe would exist.
remember it wasn’t a trivial matter even for The King to get that name confirmed, so it not like it was a public document.

And for the record, that scroll Sturm is securing is the treaty that they are currently negotiating with the Rus. It’s… pretty important.

And of course taking off you shirt was very necessary for giving that revelation.

Ohh, that is dirty, old Shaman. That is dirty, indeed.
Called it! 🙂
