@Sandman, no he did not. He just admitted to having done some rather bad things to this Deacon… and now feeling a LITTLE better finding the Deacon listed in that book, and that the Deacon is guilty of some rather horrible acts.
He didn’t frame Coriander… but he’s clearly done some nasty stuff to the Deacon.
I suspect we’re not supposed to trust him, Cerulean Lion, so much as trust that he will do whatever he believes is the best course of action for the kingdom and himself, whatever that entails.
Be a Producer!Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
….This seems pretty shady.
So the deacon is a slave to the coriander…
Did he just admit to framing Coriander?

Turned a Pedophile into his personal Magic Defense system..It looks like a Rune Necklace.
Have we encountered this deacon before?
At risk of Becoming the Mask… literally. Still no word on what or who tree girl is, but hopefully that will change.
By the way, what happened to Coriander? I know Tiffany stabbed him in the dick and all, but did they do about him afterwards?
@ Gromnir, they arrested him, and are putting him on trial for running a child sex-slave ring.
@ Uhl Excellent. Good to hear he got his comeuppance.
Srsly, who is that chick?
“This is the song that never ends my friends…”
Just what IS Urtica using Renfield’s song to accomplish/defend against, that needs the mask to protect Urtica himself from the direct effects?
Oops. The mask isn’t to protect him – it’s to masquerade as Coriander. Well, i feel dumb.
I believe it’s this guy: http://www.exiern.com/2011/06/10/evil-is-so-hard-to-keep-straight/
And the mask is probably one of those that the Fractured had…
Indeed. He was first seen holding that fragment of the mask in this strip: http://www.exiern.com/2012/02/28/not-every-situation-requires-poison/
Wasn’t surprised he kept it, but am surprised he knows how to use it.
Wait, does that mask reflect what the viewer wants to see? Or Cori specifically to everyone? o_O
I think I understand Urtica’s reasons and motives, but the more I see of him the less I trust him.
I suspect we’re not supposed to trust him, Cerulean Lion, so much as trust that he will do whatever he believes is the best course of action for the kingdom and himself, whatever that entails.
Cerulean Lion: There was a time when you trusted him?
I suspect that the mask projects what the wearer wants you to see. From the looks of things it’s addictive.
I suspect that the fractured are created when the mask is constantly worn so that they become nothing but what they play.
So… Urtica really, really hates it when people withhold information. Poor Theresa got off easy in comparison with this guy!
My respect for Urtica’s badassery goes up, but I’m starting to dislike him on a personal level. I’d like to see Theresa kick his butt.
